A little bit about our guest mixer:

I’m of no genre, can appreciate classical music, good Rock N Roll, Funk…there is only one common denominator: music is about soul and love, the rest doesn’t matter.
Discovered House music back in the early 90’s, in a period I felt lost with all emerging big commercial pop music, later turning with boys bands and 'made in 5mn dance music'.
I found myself seeking the real sounds that could bring what Tears For Fears or Talk Talk or Simple Minds brought to my soul, and I discovered underground funk in an import vinyl store, than quickly after House music with French label Fnac Music Dance Division where Laurent Garnier debuted, than quickly turned to Chez Damier and Ron Trent's first tracks and this was like a never ending love story starting. That period with illegal rave parties in deserted workshops was just huge!
After tasting all genres of electronic music, some even bad 🙂, I discovered Deep House sounds in early 2000’s with labels like Large Music, Guidance, Ovum, Naked and Straight up and since then I’ve always looked for this deep side of electronic music that you can even find in Techno.
2019 will be a special year for me with label starting, parties organising…
This mix I recorded for Somewhere Down There is about my philosophy of deepness, blending old and brand new tracks, took so much pleasure to put this mix together!
