Karawane (pronounced kara-va-neh) are Scottish-based global music DJs, producers and change-makers, focused on bringing people together through the primal bonds of rhythm and sound. 

Celebrating music without borders, they have been instrumental in bringing a new sound and attitude to the scene in the Scottish Highlands via numerous residencies and parties, as well as hosting charity events for Choose Love, the Highland Migrant & Refugee Advocacy and Last Night A DJ Saved My Life. 

Their dedication to positive action through music has been an inspirtion to Samedia and we are delighted to be representing their sound on Samedia Trax 002.

Axwell - Leave The World Behind (Mitzi Rmx)

Eponymous with creating carnage wherever they play, Rukus have been steadily building a strong following over the last few years in their hometown of Bristol, mainly via hype DJ sets across the city and at their own Tun Up and Full Fat events, as well as regular appearances at Glastonbury, Boomtown and more, but also with their finely crafted productions of modern, cutting edge dancehall infected bass music. Having been involved in the jungle scene during the 90s when it was heavily borrowing sounds/samples from the Caribbean, Rukus became curious about making more Jamaican centric music that borrowed back from early jungle and rave, so started rebuilding those golden era classics with a dancehall twist.


On "Ride Or Die" they link up Jamaican dancehall sweetheart and Equiknoxx mainstay Shanique Marie with Manchester based MC Trigga for a deep sub-loaded tribute to an anthemic rave classic. Stripped back but fully loaded, this one knocks hard and with some heavy remixes coming soon, Rukus are the ones to watch. Here we go....

RVB's musical endevours have gone from strength to strength, as the driving force behind the 'The UK is Funky' movement and one of the most eagerly watched newcomers to the production circuit. 'Dark Nights' introduces us to his extremely unique drum heavy arrangement style, packed to the brim with tribal energy and suave rhythmic prowess, taking inspiration from everything between techno and soca. RVB's future is certainly bright and one we shall be watching with keen interest.
