Para el pueblo Mapuche, la llegada del verano o WALÜNG significa el comienzo de tiempos de abundancia, donde el sol se mantiene más tiempo en el cielo, llegan los frutos, maduran los cereales y la flora y fauna se fecunda.

Nosotros como Tchamma Yapu celebramos también la llegada de este WALÜNG, que en un año con un post eclipse representa mucho más, ya que al mismo tiempo tenemos la triple conjunción entre Júpiter, Saturno y Plutón que da paso a la nueva era de acuario, llamada la época de la nueva humanidad que todos esperamos.

Un momento preciso en el espacio tiempo para reunir a grandes exponentes y artistas emergentes del downtempo Chileno, para conformar este WALÜNG y marcar la llegada de tiempos mejores para todos juntos.

 For our native peoples, the seasonal changes are very important. For the Mapuche people, the arrival of summer or WALÜNG means the beginning of times of abundance, where the sun stays longer in the sky, the fruits arrive, the cereals ripen and the flora and fauna are fertilized.

Nuestra creación es ese gurú (Brahma, la fuerza creadora); la duración de nuestras vidas es ese gurú (Vishnu, la fuerza de conservación); nuestras penas, sufrimientos, enfermedades y calamidades, así como la muerte del cuerpo es ese gurú (devo Maheshwara, la fuerza de destrucción o transformación). Hay un gurú cerca (Guru Sakshat) y un gurú lejos, más allá del más allá (param Brahma). Realizo una ofrenda (tasmai) al venerado (shri) supresor de la oscuridad, la ignorancia; (Guru) ante ti me postro con entrega (namah).


Gurú es aquel que elimina la oscuridad: «Gu» significa oscuridad y «Ru», supresor. La oscuridad hace referencia a aquello que opaca la luz de la consciencia. El gurú es el responsable de la iluminación que permite a las personas alcanzar la comprensión del verdadero Ser, el Ser total, el Ser sagrado. El gurú elimina avidya, es decir, la ignorancia, que es un caso de identidad errónea. La ignorancia se manifiesta cuando crees que tú eres tu personalidad, cuando confundes el recipiente de la mente o el cuerpo con tu identidad y no te das cuenta de quién eres realmente. La ignorancia hace que te sientas separado del todo.
Si recitas el mantra con sinceridad y desde el corazón, descubrirás que el poder de la iluminación te acompaña en todo momento. Este mantra invoca la capacidad de ver al gurú en todas sus formas y con todos sus nombres, e incluso la capacidad de reconocer, querer y servir al gurú que no puedes ver, que está más allá de cualquier forma visible. El gurú es tu propio ser, la luz interior que te guía.
