Aurum Son is both a mixed genre ensemble and soloist. 

As a soloist, free-form songs are approached in an explosive free jazz/free improvisational way. 

As an ensemble, the unit includes James Murphy (flute,sax),  Danielle Gibson (synth),  Jesse Ward (guitar), Andrew Martinez (multi-instrumental), and Robert Chapa (drums). The group is influenced by music of the world, jazz, afro Latin rhythms, and sound explorations.
