Este es un proyecto de Manuel Batista, originario de Portugal y actualmente representante de Reversible Records y parte del Booking Internacional de Kunayala Records.

Fue en 2000 que comenzó a estar profundamente conectado con la música. Lleno de melodías pesadas, desde heavy metal hasta black. Comenzó el amor por la música y la primera conexión fue cuando comenzó a aprender a tocar la guitarra.

Más tarde en 2003, descubre la música electrónica, Psy Trance, en su primera fiesta al aire libre. En 2005, comienza a tocar DJ en algunos lugares solo por diversión, un par de años después con el amor de mezclar alcanza un nivel más alto.

En 2012 comienza un grado avanzado de dj, que le da una visión más refinada y técnica de la teoría y producción de música electrónica. En el mismo año comienza una graduación académica en música electrónica y producción musical.

Su conjunto puede seguir varios caminos que pueden viajar en el lado más oscuro o seguir senderos psicodélicos más maravillosos. El orden es simplemente innovar y mejorar, sin importar el tipo de estilo musical. Sin reglas ni límites.

This is a project by Manuel Batista, originally from Portugal and currently a representative of Reversible Records and part of Kunayala Records International Booking.

It was in 2000 that he began to be deeply connected with music. Full of heavy melodies, from heavy metal to black. The love for music began and the first connection was when he began to learn to play the guitar.

Later in 2003, he discovers electronic music, Psy Trance, at his first outdoor party. In 2005, he starts playing DJ in some places just for fun, a couple of years later with the love of mixing he reaches a higher level.

In 2012 an advanced degree of dj begins, which gives a more refined and technical vision of electronic music theory and production. In the same year, an academic graduation in electronic music and music production begins.

Your ensemble can follow various paths that can travel on the darker side or follow more wonderful psychedelic trails. The order is simply to innovate and improve, regardless of the type of musical style. Without rules or limits.

Xabanga is the Psychedelic Trance project of Greek born, South African Lio Mihos, aimed at delivering a focused and completely accidental musical adventure.
Having played the drums as my main instrument for many years, I am most drawn to rhythmic pattern variation, and because of this I started writing Psychedelic Trance to experiment with rhytmic variation of aggresive electronic music as much as possible!
In addition to this, having studied sound design for film and animation in University, my obsession with replicating sonic realities permeates into this project with a lot of passion 🙂
In this audible experience you will find riding basslines that groove into cheeky rhythmic motifs and aggressive leads, followed by designs in spaces that make no sense at all. The project was signed to Digital Shamans Records (Switzerland) in 2017).
