Ten years has passed since my first release as Sonambient, an ep called Daily Karma.
Hurray hurray, let's celebrate with a new shiny rework of one of these early tracks (still one of my best, IMHO), and then let's move on with some new music. Hope you'll enjoy the listening.

2000 black Sonambient Edit

Through all July I'm going to create and release a new song everyday, six days a week, max two minutes length each, max 1:30 hours to complete every song. These are the simple rules of the game. 
Why doing so? 
I'm spending the whole summer in Sicily, in residency at FARM Cultural Park, and my purpose is to keep memories from all the beautiful places I'm visiting, the lovely people I'm meeting, and the important little moments spent in this unique place. So this is a musical diary, a collection of impressions framed into sound. 
Moreover, I want to integrate some new instruments in my set, and learn the best way to make them sound personal; last thing, I'd like to try a more free and raw approach to music, free from too many manipulations and reworks. 
Hope you'll enjoy the listening.

(PS I don't have my studio monitors with me, I'm mixing with headphones, that is a very bad way to mix a song, so please be patient if the sound quality won't be the best, but all in all this is definitely not the goal of this project.)

"Voices from the forest" is a performance conceived by Sélva Creative Studio (Chiara Manchovas + me)melting together music, live painting and live visuals. 

Above all, it is an improvised jam between humans and plants.

Most of the sounds, sequences, arps etc are triggered by the electric impulses generated by a plant (in this case, a lushy potus) thanks to a device called Music Of The Plants. 

Less predation, more collaboration, let's move over anthropocene and start a worldwide plant rave all together.
