The opening mix for the podcast series had to be from ourselves; Artium. 
 We thought we would kick things off with our very own b2b mix and set the tone for the birth of our Label Sonaré Music!

Sonaré Podcast 001 - Artium

For the second instalment of our Podcast series, we invited Manchester based DJ/Producer 'Adam Nahalewicz' to record a guest mix for us.
Already with releases on Distinct and 'Burnski's' Aesthetic, it's clear that Adam is only going in one direction.
This mix brings you an hour of deep and minimal house, infused with  Romanian flavours.

Sonaré Podcast 002 - Adam Nahalewicz

For the third instalment of our podcast series, we invited Bod Min to record a guest mix for us. A very familiar face on the Leeds underground electronic music scene,
Head honcho of Sueno, and Saturday resident on LDC radio.

Bod Min brings us a real treat here. Deep minimal house grooves, tribal, electro and sprinkles of breakbeat. Turn it up and enjoy.

Fourth up in the podcast series, and this time Jamie Trench provides us with an hour of bass driven deep and soulful house.

The 'Roots for Bloom' main man captured our attention this month in Hull where we witnessed an epic 3 hour set into the early hours.

Next up on the podcast series hailing from the vibrant city of Leeds Ryan Murray is a DJ that has been playing in clubs since the age of 16, having previously warmed up for the likes of Diego Krause, Mihai Popoviciu, Rossko, Phil Weeks, The Mekanism, Jasper James and Yousef, both in the UK and overseas. Ryan holds down residency at his Groove.Box events in Leeds and most of his spare time is spent in the studio, creating his craft over the last six years releasing tracks on Arupa and Syntax, with more releases coming soon.

For our seventh instalment on the Sonarè Podcast series; XS legend Paul James provides us with a master class of a mix.

One of the finest DJs we know provides us with 90 minutes of timeless grooves ranging from deep house to techno. 

Paul James will be joining us on our label launch event in August which we are so excited about.

Manchester based DJ/Artist 'Adam Nahalewicz' comes up with the goods for this debut release on Sonaré Music.

The name 'Voyager 1' speaks volumes about this EP. The track itself gives you a feel as though you are travelling through space and time, combining luscious spacey pads with an infectious skippy beat and rolling baseline

Kepler brings us some serious heat with a huge remix. Whilst keeping the flavours of a futuristic and spacey feel, this has a more melodic approach, with nice use of synths and baselines.

'Life Emerged' really takes you into the realm of deep and minimal techno. A lovely combination of pads and bass tones that draw you in to a relentless groove.

'Warp Speed' delivers more of 'Adams' signature sound. The theme remains the same, with use of spacey pads and synths, but this focuses more on the baseline, bringing something a little wobbly and edgy to the EP.

Gally brings the heat in a vinyl only mix for Podcast 009 with a naughty selection of wax he has been recently playing in his club sets. Expect the unexpected, stomping basslines, acid tones and skippy percussion!

4 dance floor focused tracks that will suit different settings and situations.

It is 'Aneto' that kicks off with a simple but seductive house groove combined with luscious chord stabs. Ray Mono steps in and brings us some bass driven, dubby goodness on the remix. Perfect for the intimate clubs, at peak time!
We couldn't imagine an EP by Nicolaou without some balearic flavour, and 'Colours' certainly delivers on that.
Things step up again with 'Rub a Dub'. Another peak time heater, which focuses on a relentless groove and dubby baseline.

The 10th instalment of our podcast series is brought to you from 'Ctrl Alt DEL' founder Danny Eyles.

Hull based DJ/Events/Label owner Danny has a passion for electronic music that not many can match. His versatile approach to music and love for all genres of the house music spectrum shows in his sets and mixes!
 Danny is at the forefront of the Hull music scene regularly putting on  his own events whilst endlessly networking within the industry. We were buzzed to have Danny play at our opening party earlier on in the year at Distrikt and you will not be disappointed with this mix :)

Label co-owner 'Nicolaou' steps up first with 'Mirus'. Luscious guitars and house chords combined with a bass driven groove. A dance floor heater.
'Brook' takes us on a darker journey with 'Vivid Dream'. Deep bass tones, pads and a seductive vocal. One for the afters.
Label co-owner 'Gally' brings us his debut release on Sonaré - 'One night in Bucharest' which continues with an 'afters' theme, but with flavours of Romania. Focusing on pads and subtle details that draw you in.
'Al Bradley' finishes the EP nicely with 'Flowing with the currents. Delayed claps, mind bending pads, and a simple baseline, intelligently produced to form a relentless and minimal groove.

Leeds based duo Rkyv bring the fire for the third digital release on Sonaré Music, with a four track EP, including a remix from the amazingly talented Laura Jones. The EP takes the Sonaré collective to a much deeper and darker place than previous releases, bringing more diversity and variation to their imprint.

Inside (Original mix)
This is a huge track from the duo which is sure to smash dance floors everywhere, with a deep emotional main room vocal, accompanied with some lovely house chords and atmospheric builds, driven on by its skippy breaks style drums & percussion.

Inside (Laura Jones remix)
A truly outstanding remix from Laura Jones. A remix that ouse's class, with a breaks style feel to the drums and percussion running parallel with a dynamic subby bass and relentless groove, fit for any dance floor.

Behind you (Original mix)
A dark minimal production with industrial techno elements, which takes you on a timeless journey full of atmospheric builds and FX, powered by a driving sub-bass and deep vocal elements, Rkyv really show their dark side on this one.

Running man (Original mix)
A journey through space and time with the downtempo laidback melodic-breaks/house track, which brings an almost relaxing electronic journey. This track delivers hypnotic atmospheric sounds with a soothing chilled vocal, riding along with that skippy drum and percussion arrangement that is synonymous with the other tracks on the EP.

Leeds-based label Sonaré Music returns with three deep minimal cuts on their fourth digital release from emerging artist 'Simple Mind' with his 'Moontak EP'.

Two original tracks from 'Simple Mind' himself and a deep minimal roller from the super talented 'Nayve'.

Moontalk (Original mix) - A spacey journey with atmospheric synths and chords and complimentary vocal stabs, prepare to lose your mind to a beautiful minimal groove

Moontalk (Nayve Remix) - A downtempo minimal gem from Nottingham's rising star Nayve. With its euphoric builds and growling subby-bassline, this remix is nothing short of outstanding

Perception (Original mix) - An upbeat groove with a touch of acid that resonates across the production along with warm synths and skippy percussion

As 2024 comes to an end, we bring you our next podcast in the series, with local talent - OSI, bringing
an exquisite selection of minimal house and techno, including some of his own productions.

OSI is a DJ and producer from the North of England. His rolling sound draws influence from a range of genres, including minimal, deep house, dub techno, early tech house and garage.

He has recently featured on the iconic HÖR Berlin, had his music played on BBC Radio 1 and at venues worldwide by industry heavyweights.

Sonaré Podcast 012 - OSI

Jenna Limbert is making a name for herself on the underground DJ circuit, a regular on lineups all across the city of Leeds, with her diverse uplifting sets and a passion for music to match her mixing ability she really is making waves on the underground scene. 

Jenna a 'Ruckus' & 'Distrikt bar' resident respectively, played for our event last year at our Imaginarium debut alongside Subb-an & Bobby O'Donnell from which she received some great feedback for her set on the evening. On that note we thought we get her back involved but this time on podcast duties for our 13th podcast instalment.
