"Subsuelo is a global bass crew based in Los Angeles that experiments with futuristic dance parties and old-school tropical music. They have performed at Coachella, Boiler Room at the MoMA in New York City, at the Manana & Musicabana Festivals in Cuba, Supersonico in Los Angeles, Genius Loci in Mexico, Joshua Tree Music Festival, Northern Nights, Boogaloo and other festivals."

On September 26th, I was honored to play a short set to celebrate one of the members DJ Gozar's birthday. I decided to play a lot of Afrolatin tracks and it worked out perfectly. The vibe was amazing. It was so much fun. Hope you guys like it.

DJEFF now graces Sondela with 'Vuleka', featuring the deep and transfixing voice of Viwo Kulati who narrates this weighty release. Sondela Recordings welcomes South African natives TechTonic Tay and Ed-Ward to the crew with two-track EP 'Offering', a clear statement of the artists' creativity and originality. First up on the package is 'Bambelela', which comes equipped with inspiring spoken word elements conveying a sense of determination and power throughout. Followed by 'Ke Bokae', a consistently tough track featuring hard percussion and a deep, mesmerising bassline. Hailing from the small village of Kanye, Botswana, but now currently based in the capital city of Garborone, Benny T has taken inspiration from both village and city living, fusing Afro rhythms with house music across his growing catalogue of releases. Having joined the Sondela imprint with a two track EP 'Black Technology' in 2021, Benny's follow-up opens with the unadulterated euphoria of 'Voices From The Dark Forest', while 'Abednico's Song' serves as a tribute to his brother Abednico Thero Malepa, who played a huge role in his musical career. Both tracks highlight Benny T's signature elevating pads with a sea of strings and subtle crescendo; making the release a truly identifiable creation and one that is reflective of his Tswana roots.

Swedish producer Rasmus Faber released his story-telling record ‘Two left Feet’ featuring Öhrn in summer 2019, as part of stunning ten-track album bearing the same name. Rasmus, known for his exquisite production skills, ensures each performance is organic, memorable and raw with live instrumentation. Now Defected presents a remix package for this remarkably chilled record, kicking things off with the Moon Rocket Remix, featuring tension-building drops and captivating drums throughout.
