Today we are proud to introduce " @eira_haul ". This Berlin based artist won us over with one of his latest EP's "Lonely Water" released last August on "@lemon-test ".  
Eira Haul has lived in a lot of different countries over his life and he told us that his diverse music taste and productions are a reflection of this. He also admits that regardless of where he lives his taste are continuously shifting and circling “With the lack of clubbing recently a lot of my attention has been focused on music outside of the 4-to-the-floor structure and I've also been excited to engage with genres that got me into electronic music originally such as jungle and breaks” he said.

We’re delighted to host the Indonesian DJ, based in Bandung, @barbarapleaser as our next guest for the upcoming SNDR//034 Vortex podcast.

High intensity like a wild rollin’ pangolin, Barbara Pleaser is serving the moody borderline of exhilaration or either disconsolateness from behind the deck. They are a physical theatre stage actor and a multidisciplinary artist by day and use Barbara Pleaser by night to compile the music that inspires their processes at the studio, more like a short story and a collage journal of their visceral moments.

Barbara Pleaser chooses to mix the offbeat diverse genres of bedazzled and bionic bubblegum bass with some trance and ballsy drum n bass songs from their gamer friends, a peculiar combo with the bulky references with Bananach in industrial-angsty punk sound to nasty-shrieking no wave--which sometimes filled with an excerpt from memes, sneaky records of inner-circle conversations, or poem recitations.

She is a filmmaker, producer & up and coming DJ from Duisburg, Berlin and Nuremberg. Ellen lives in the swirling jet set of professional nightlife, floating between camera, dj booth and the organisation of own events. Her sets flood the floor with an intense and surprising blend of techno, break beats, trance and HipHop. 
We had the pleasure of seeing this artist perform at Mahagoni Festival last summer . She definitely made a difference. What a vibe!

SNDR 013 // Holly North -  LIVE Set

For our weekly podcast release we are proud to introduce traumesser (@antoninomodica) , now on SNDR//016!

Antonino Modica is a Berlin-based sound artist and performer from Italy. During the last few years in the German capital his research and practice shifted towards electroacoustic performance and installation work, exploring the liminal spaces between noise and tonality, extreme texture and microsound, and complex sonic ecosystem involving feedback and chaotic behaviours. 

Antonino’s moniker traumesser is born as a result of various club-related influences, ranging from atmospheric and organic downtempo beats to faster and more invasive dancefloor hitters, with the aim of creating a dynamic and enveloping sonic experience. In Berlin he usually can be spotted in many ravey club nights at Saule, Berghain's most experimental venue. 

During quarantine, Antonino has been involved in recording and publishing an experimental/ambient podcast which has been a great challenge and an expansion of his musical research and interests. 

Currently involved in a MA focussed on Sound Studies at UDK, traumesser has an extremely uncommon approach to djing. An incredible ability to find connections in dissonant sounds is a distinctive touch of Antonino’s mixes who has been experimenting for years creating mixes in many different genres. 

traumesser’s mix is a constant state of restlessness. A tsunami wave that changes intensity and power, starting at a slow pace, then turning out to be destructive, till the end, when it finally grabs the listeners out of its hardcore intensity and cradles them to a much more safe harbour. 

A complex ecosystem of rhythms, genres and dynamics, with just a common factor: UK sounds and bass which are the sometimes recognizable and sometimes faded footsteps in the mix, a curious and engaging game of treasure hunt while the songs play.

A narrative that tells a lot about traumesser’s identity and concept. A mix built for being listened more than danced, vibed more than played in the background.

Amadeus Joseph is a DJ and Producer with Colombian origins, based in Berlin. ⁠
Usually to be spotted behind the decks dropping techno and industrial bangers, since a few years Amadeus is strongly developing his craft in a different realm of sounds - using his own expression, "ethereal storytelling". ⁠
⁠
Amadeus guides us through his ambient side by evoking intuitions that belong to lucid dreaming and meditation, delivering a sense of introspection and healing.⁠
⁠
In 2017 Amadeus kicked-off his own event series INHERENCIA (@inherenciamusic), which turned then into a Techno & Ambient label, with its own podcast series and innovative concepts such as ‘INTRA’, centered on 'Arts, Ambient and experimental Music’.⁠

⁠For the last Inherencia VA compilation, the participating artists were asked to submit an original composition which had to represent the healing process of a previous personal trauma. The resulting works were collected in the compilation "Conciencia Colectiva", which embraces a wide spectrum of ambient styles such as electronica, drone, leftfield breaks, and aims to create the soundtrack of a collective transcendence of consciousness. 
 
Additionally, all revenues derived from the sales of "Conciencia Colectiva" will be donated to the indigenous foundation 'Nación Wayuu' ', which aims to support the Wayuu community of Northern Colombia by defending their human rights constantly put in danger by multinational coal mining (more on this on Inherencia's website).

@guttoserta is a music producer and Berlin-based DJ.
Since childhood, he displayed a keen interest in all things musical and a desire to develop an understanding of several musical instruments. His taste blends organic and digital sounds, the overall effect is an artistic vision that speaks to the soul of its listeners. 

He started his career really young, attending to the best parties and clubs that Brazil could provide. In 2017, he chose Berlin as a base to develop his career as a producer and DJ. 

After playing as a drummer in a few bands, Gutto started a duo project called Hands Up Live, which has since gained a significant following in Brazil. The project is a fusional style, where he played live percussion alongside his DJ partner. Hands Up Live allowed Gutto to play for many audiences, ranking between the top 10 DJs and a great chance to hone his skills as a musician, especially as a live performance artist.

This podcast hits like a whiplash, warmed with endless groove.
Gutto loves to mix punching techno tracks with breakbeat rhythms and smooth melodic housey chords. 
His podcast is a fluid and euphoric listening experience delivering a daydream through acid basslines and wonderful murky rhythms.

SNDR 023 // DJ Autogrill

For this episode of SNDR 024 it was very meaningful for us to host the Polish Berlin based artist https://soundcloud.com/kasiagosc because she is a supporter of the Ogolnopolski Strajk Kobiet (OSK) movement. 
In October she took part in the demonstration in Hermannplatz (Berlin) organized Dziewuchy Berlin  which supports the OSK cause. 
 
Our friendship with Kasia started on the warm Greek beaches, in a secret festival organised in Rhodes where some of our resident artists played.
That experience was a summer dream to this day we all remember as a wonderful adventure.
 
Kasia is an eclectic artist who loves to mix different styles of music in her sets.
Coming from a background of  mainly industrial and acid techno, over the years she incorporated IBM, adding breakbeat and electro beats in her mixes. 
In the last months she has been exploring experimental electronica with immense soundscapes.
 
Kasia Gościńska's set SNDR024 stands out for experimental, cybernetic, metallic tracks.
She chose a dark and mysterious scenario in which a highly abstract sound design reigns.
Most of the tracks avoid common beats entirely, landing in deeply experimental territory. This is one hour of futurist soundscapes that immerse the listener in a solemn ethereal bath.

Kaytseng is a talented female DJ, based in Melbourne. Her sets space from a variety of different sounds and genres, starting with classic electro sounds to then move towards some heavy basses and punchy kicks, alternated with breaks and trance tracks, which makes her sets fast, energetic, and banging. 
From time to time she also loves to throw in some tribal grooves, ghetto vocals, and acid basslines.
