As part of our Sound Meditation Training curriculum we create an Initiation Jam. In this experimental space we open a safe container for our trainees to explore the world of sound. After an initiation meditation we begin to freely flow with our instruments, what then happens is all improvised.

Enjoy this mantra recorded live during our 7 Day Sound Meditation Training this May 2022. For this recording we brought our participants very close so we could really feel and hear all of the voices coming together.

We came into a beautiful vocal flow that lasted almost 16 minutes. We resonated going through many different feelings and emotions, the mantra leading us into a state of deep flow and connection.

Amazing Grace, a very profound Medicine Song coming from the Christian tradition. Amazing Grace was written by John Newton in the late 1700's. Earlier in his life he was a slave trader, engaged in what we could all agree was a wretched thing to do. Newton later claimed to be saved by the holy spirit and wrote Amazing Grace to commemorate his transformation from the dark horrors of his past into the light of his newly discovered faith. 

John Newton became a pastor, embedded with regret from his deeds as a slave trader, he then became a well known abolitionist, fighting passionately to end slavery, and to right his former wrongs.
