SIKO - THE CALL OF THE FOREST (Fullmoon April 2021)

Enjoy this mantra recorded live during our 7 Day Sound Meditation Training this May 2022. For this recording we brought our participants very close so we could really feel and hear all of the voices coming together.

We came into a beautiful vocal flow that lasted almost 16 minutes. We resonated going through many different feelings and emotions, the mantra leading us into a state of deep flow and connection.

It is said that you should not seek for Buddhahood outside of yourself; the substances for the achievement of Buddhahood are within.

Join us in resonance and sing a long in this devotional song to Shiva in his cosmic dancing form, Nataraja. This mantra is a homage to the creative and destructive force that exists in us all, and a call to harness said power in creativity, light and love.

This three part invocation brings us through different states of being, from meditative, to ecstatic, to devotional inner peace.

Sumak kawsay is a central principle in the world view of the indigenous peoples of the Andes region. It aims at material, social and spiritual satisfaction for all members of the community, but not at the expense of others and or the natural foundations of life, and can be understood as "living together in diversity and harmony with nature". On an individual level, sumak kawsay is understood as a personally "good life". Sumak kawsay has connections to the Western model of sustainable development, but does not know a linear concept of development. For this reason and in its understanding of nature, sumak kawsay also differs fundamentally from socialist or communist ideals. Some indigenous representatives believe that sumak kawsay cannot be implemented by people in modern societies. I do not see it that way, keep trying! I hope these wonderful sounds can support you in your process.
