(This is a shortened version of a previous upload.   Apologies for the multiple uploads.) Patti Smith and Robbie Robertson both wrote songs about the Ghost Dance.  Both their songs include the last line of my chorus, which speaks to me about the need for renewal, hope and community, and I think my song attempts to connect with the inner spirit and yearnings that fired that movement.
