Foamy dub(techno)

LPs 2002-2005

Disc 1: Let it Rain

New SEMANTICA Compilation is about to bright and reflect on already well known directions explored by Svreca’s imprint. Despite the label efforts to hide from any sonic etiquette, still existing a core which will be the SEMANTICA sound identity for a time. 'Iridescent' twist and modulate this heritage which moves gradually from ambient / electronics to techno and set the release directly to S++ category into the SEMANTICA catalogue.

Taken from "cv313, Federsen - Skyspace EP (Alt/Dub)". Out November 22nd 2024. Buy here :
https://altdub.bandcamp.com/music

Echospace Detroit’s cv313 aka Stephen Hitchell joins forces with Federsen for the second instalment on the latter’s newly minted Alt Dub label with the ‘Skyspace’ EP.Over the past decade and a half San Francisco based artist Federsen has been making his mark on the dub infused techno and house sound, delivering his vintage tape delay and analogue gear driven sound via the likes of Mixcult, Greyscale, Lempuyang and Ohm Series among others. In May this year Federsen inaugurated his own Alt Dub label with a split EP from himself and Hidden Sequence, and here the story continues following the split format with more original material from himself and cv313, accompanied by both artists remixing each other to run alongside their originals across the 12’’.
cv313’s original mix of ‘Skycrossing’ opens the release and in typical Hitchell fashion treats us to eight and a half minutes of deep soundscapes, spiralling dub echoes, muted drums and a subtly unfurling feel throughout. Federsen’s ‘Dub’ remix of ‘Skycrossing’ then follows, offering a more refined and reduced feel with subby pulsations and crisp drums intertwined with dubby fragments of the original tracks.
On the flip-side Federsen’s original ‘Skyway’ leads, employing a sturdy rhythm section with nuanced dub echoes and rumbling low-end swells. To conclude the release cv313 offers up his ‘Dub’ interpretation of ‘Skyway’, stamping his mark on things with phasing atmospherics, intricate oscillations and fluttering percussion.

The Bunker Podcast 235 comes from @erikluebs. This is a live set recorded in Milan on March 28 at the party Acquario.

Erik Luebs is a US-born musician and sound designer based in Japan. Eschewing typical genre tropes, Luebs approaches techno with a playfully disruptive technique, reinterpreting the fundamentals using built-from-scratch patches and labyrinthine sequencing. While the labor-intensive process is inspired by a wide range of luminaries such as Mark Fell and Rrose, the resulting music is firmly tied to the dance floor.

Luebs released an EP on The Bunker back in 2021, and has since released on DJ Nobu’s Bitta label (@djnobu_bitta), and @nousklaeraudio. He also has an upcoming release on the legendary @kompakt imprint.

Erik will be playing an ambisonic surround sound set for a horizontal audience at Going In at Reforestor’s Laboratory in Brooklyn this Friday, and an extended sunrise dancefloor set at The Bunker’s takeover of @nowadaysnyc Nonstop on Sunday morning.

Tresor Expansions - Chloe Lula & Function - 17 Nov 2025

recorded for my favorite people at Metropolis in Brussels!

recorded @ Metropolis, Brussels 12-10-2025

A serial crafter of deep-diving floor narratives whose magic innervates Brussels' Metropolis Sunday parties, Belgian DJ Sonhan has cemented his position as a surefire groove manipulator, consistently dishing out mixes that span the gap between heavy-duty techno, jagged psychedelics and chiseled dub freqs. His debut mix for RYC conjures up a similar headspace, unrelentingly sinking us down a smouldering corridor of soulful electronics and pumped-up peak time ascensions. An experience of heightened depth and intensity, unfolding with a finely balanced mix of seamless cinematic savoir-faire and dazzling fire at heart.

Born in Sardinia and based in Berlin, the DJ & producer is known for creating sonic bridges between the perceivable world and mythical, imaginal realms through an approach to sound that avoids extravertive elements and instead works with spatial awareness, detail, and a wide-screen sense of sound to create immersive journeys.

With releases on Prologue Music, Semantica Records and Delsin Records, and through 012, the label and curated night he founded, he brings together connected producers and visual artists across several places in Europe. The same meticulous approach defines his DJ sets, where the journey itself becomes the central element.
