Impressum Recordings are happy to have ENØS return to the label with their new collaboration with VNTM, with a powerful 2 tracker ‘Edge Of The World EP’ which is perfect for late summer nights.

ENØS have previously released their exceptionally well crafted melodic house and techno sound on profile labels like Afterlife, Oddity Siamese and more, and they featured on the Symbiosis One VA earlier this year. Meanwhile VNTM has already been creating a solid name for himself with releases on highly regarded labels such as Afterlife, Gem, Days like Nights and Stil Vor Talent. His sound would be characterised as melodic and strong willed techno, which is filled with plenty of emotion. Having released on some of the same labels individually, ENØS have teamed up with the fast rising young Dutch artist VNTM to create a powerful and epic 2 tracker with a strong emphasis for after dark in big rooms, festival.

The first and title track on the EP is called ‘Edge Of The World’, a dynamic and authoritative kick gets you locked straight away in the knowledge something big is incoming. With a dramatic feel from start to finish this evolves as it moves through the track using treated synths and strings to really add tension and feeling to the track before they drop a compelling anthemic breakdown to get the crowd rising into rapture.

Track two is ‘Downfall’, which again starts with a captivating kick and grows in a crescendo to the dreamy melodic breakdown before dropping back into the powerful main section to get those hands in the air.

Swiss brotherly duo ENØS make their label debut with their two-track ‘Universum’ EP on Purified Records. The ‘Universum’ EP artwork showcases a photograph of a reef shark, captured by Daniel Nicholson. Sharks are fascinating and diverse animals that have been in our ocean for over 400 million years, however there's much more to them than that. A world without sharks would have serious consequences for marine and freshwater ecosystems. Many human communities value sharks in their cultures and there are economies and communities that depend on them. Diverse shark populations are important for healthy oceans, yet many species are in danger of disappearing from our waters. The biggest threat faced by sharks across the world is overfishing, which is why organizations such as the Shark Trust focus so much of their efforts on fisheries management and shark conservation. They work to improve, implement and enforce legislation, and to transform fisheries – all with the aim of safeguarding the future of sharks. The Grey Reef Shark Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos is listed as endangered according to the IUCN Red List.

Located on the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, Daniel Nicholson is one of the globe’s most prominent professional underwater photographers. He seeks to share the beauty and magic of the underwater world to inspire conservation and change.

Booka Shade welcome back Moonwalk to deliver their first full EP on the label as the duo reveal their ‘Elessar’ EP to open December.

Milan-based, Neapolitan duo Dario Vizioli and Mauro Morabello, aka Moonwalk, have emerged in recent years as one of Italy’s brightest rising duos within the melodic house and techno scene, with releases to date via the likes of Stil vor Talent, Diynamic, Knee Deep In Sound and Suara gaining the attention of a host of the industry’s leading names, from Solomun to Carl Cox and beyond. Having debuted on Blaufield earlier in the year to remix Arm In Arm’s ‘Hunger For Your Vibe’, most notably featured during ARTBAT’s stand out Cercle performance, here we see the pairing return to Booka Shade’s label to deliver their first full EP on the label entitled ‘Elessar’.

Title production ‘Elessar’ opens the EP in emphatic fashion as the pair weave soaring lead synths amongst suspenseful, energy building breaks and sweeping sonics, whilst ‘Cheos’ welcomes as slightly darker aesthetic as rich melodies meet restrained yet punchy percussion arrangements alongside further towering builds and breaks.
