"The Poor People of Paris" is a popular song, with "Paris" being pronounced as "pa-REE".
It was adapted by Jack Lawrence in 1954 from the French language song "La goualante du pauvre Jean" ("The Ballad of Poor John") (words by René Rouzaud, music by Marguerite Monnot[1]). The title arises in part from a misinterpretation of the French title, as "pauvre Jean" was taken for the same-sounding "pauvre gens," which translates as "poor people."

"The Windmills of Your Mind" (Les Moulins de Mon Cœur) is a song with music by Michel Legrand, as well as Alan Bergman and Marilyn Bergman, and lyrics by the Bergmans, from the 1968 film The Thomas Crown Affair. Noel Harrison performed the song for the film score. It won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1968.

Dusty Springfield's version of the song is also well known; this version reached #31 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and #3 on the Billboard adult contemporary chart in 1969.

"Hier Encore," whose original French title translates as "Only Yesterday," is a song written by Charles Aznavour and released in September 1964.

It was subsequently released in English as "Yesterday, When I Was Young".
The English-language lyrics, written by Herbert Kretzmer, tell of a man reflecting on his life. He recounts how he had wasted his youth on self-centered pursuits, and that, now that he is older, he will not be able to do all that he had planned; this implies that he may be close to his impending death.

Charles Aznavour sinh năm 1924 tại Paris, gốc người Arménie. Tại Sài Gòn, thời kỳ nhạc yé-yé những năm 60, người ta biết đến Aznavour qua bài « Et Pourtant » năm 1963, sau khi đã biết Aznavour tài tử xi-nê qua phim « Un taxi pour Tobrouk ». 
Bài « La Bohème » sáng tác năm 1965, nói lên nếp sống lãng tử của giới nghệ sĩ trên đồi Montmartre của nửa đầu thế kỷ 20.
