This is the musical interview (in Spanish) of the melodic artist Sonia Gray on Radio St. Cugat 91.5fm, Barcelona, in which all the hits of her last album "A song for you" of original versions and covers are reviewed.

During the interview, Sonia Gray repertoire is playing with songs of 60's, 70's, 80's pop, rock, country, folk, balladistic as well as present music. Sonia Gray is preparing her latest project to perform in resorts, high standing hotels and on international cruises.

FRIDAY. Miss Project

Hi everybody, I'm Sonia from Spain. I was born in Ponferrada (Leon), a city full of history in the northwest of Spain. I moved to Barcelona when I was a baby and I've been living in this wonderful city since then till now.  I am singer and songwriter of my own songs and some covers. i also create my own dance coreographies. Apart from this, my world is music and I give it full-time.
 
As a musician, I am an entirely self-taught artist who has made herself. I started to play music with Long drink, a quartet where I had much experience performing live, playing jazz, bossa, soul and classic pop-rock.  Two years later and in search of a more intimate project, I set up the duo of versions "B Sides (Caras B)" with a talented keyboardist with whom I played melodic pop style of all ages, writing and performing our own songs too. 

Afer this, I joined the band  "La señorita Gray", a trio formed by a peculiar sax, a sensitive guitar, and me in the vocals. We performed classics covers, pop and rock style, with a fully acoustic staging, full of elegance and sensitivity.

My desire to grow like an artist made me determine on creating and composing on my own. My first  studio song  "No juegues más conmigo" was released in 2005. Two years later, I was recording in Barcelona with another producer, three new songs of my own, two in Spanish and one in English:  "No puedo resistir",  "Que quiere una mujer" and "Little star". 

However, not until 2009 when I produce my most authentic album on my own called "A change is coming", entirely in English which includes styles such as pop, dance, soul, ballads, electronic..... where are songs like  "Baby",  "Don't you remembe", "I'm melting", "Feel you", "In the right way", "Lost" and  "The end". 

By the way, I was playing at different venues, and also participated in some TV music contests. Also, I was performing as a dancer at the MTV Music award 2004 (Eminem and Christina Aguilera show) in Bcn and at other shows . One of my last projects has been recorded in studio for the electronic sessions Vocal Sessions League, in Madrid.

Nowadays, I am immersed in one of my purest projects I've done so far, "Miss Project". Our style is defined as a languid pop groove lounge with some of new age, classic, dance, electronic and polyphonic, very fresh and different, which includes songs like "Friday",  "Letter from my island", "Don't call me", "I gave him everything", "Free", "This morning","When with my baby"..... and more that we are about to release and perform live.  

Recently I was one of the winners of the contest "Tribe of Noise and Getty Images Music" Spanish world tour, which includes 3 original songs of my own in Spanish. Therefore, I just signed a nonexclusive contract with the same record company  for selling online the music on my own as well as "Miss Project" songs. 

We are setting up live concerts, shows and performances of our songs for the new year 2013 in Barcelona. In adittion,  we have promotion and presentation of our musical project at different venues of the city and in Madrid....................so we hope you don't miss our newsletter and be sure to listen to our songs!!
