Off The Game

Swedish rock band Sonic Kharma releases the debut album "Too much is just enough" on September 30th. The music that the unsigned band plays can best be described as melodic rock and the final result is a product of the five members influences of different music styles from different ages.

The album is available on digital platforms from September 30th and will also be available as a CD or LP disc. As of September 25th, you can pre-purchase the three songs "Keep calm and carry on", "New Day" and "Rock Show Queen" on iTunes and Google Play.

Sonic Kharma was formed in 2013 and has the city of Umeå in northern Sweden as base camp. Some of the guys have been playing together for a few years before in different constellations. The driving forces in the band are mainly Michael on Guitar and Henrik on song, which writes most of the songs, while the rest pitch in ideas of arrangements and riffs.

The band is currently planning for gigs in the fall and winter and will present them on its Facebook page.

We played 'Keep calm and carry on' and 'Off the game' live in Swedish Radio P4 Västerbotten on October 11 2017.

This was the first gig since the release of our album 'Too much is just enough' September 30 2017.

Sonic Kharma was formed in the fall of 2013 but some of the members have played together in other constellations. 

The music is mainly harder rock with a touch of punk rock. Some of the influences are Foo Fighters, AC/DC, Danko Jones, Jonossi, Dinosaur jr, Green Day, Hole, Nirvana, Electric Mary, Supercharged Pitbulls, Sator.

The members are:
Henrik Brännlund - Lead Singer
Michael Blomqvist - Guitar, Vocals
Jonas Edvardsson - Lead Guitar
Kevin Valberg - Bass

Sonic Kharma resides in Umea, in the north of Sweden.
