After becoming a father, I took a step back from producing music for a while. Raising my son has been one of the happiest and most fulfilling times of my life, but it also meant putting my own musical projects on hold. During that period, I mostly created music for films and product ads — work that helped me support my family, but it never quite fed the same creative fire.

Now, with a bit more time and peace of mind, I’ve finally returned to making music simply for the joy of it. The first new Sonic Cube tracks are starting to take shape, and honestly, I’m not even sure how to describe the style anymore. What I do know is that the spirit of progressive and psytrance, along with the minimal and neo-dub influences that shaped me over the years, still runs deeply through my sound.

I truly hope these new pieces connect with some of you out there. When our former project Sonnenvakuum could no longer release music under that name due to a dispute with our previous label, we decided to start fresh — and that’s how Sonic Cube was born.

We also wanted to evolve our sound — moving towards a groovier direction with slightly fewer BPMs, while keeping the deep, melodic vibe we’ve always loved. Our debut album as Sonic Cube was released back in 2003 on Millennium Records (UK).

Since Millennium Records is no longer active and the album hasn’t been available digitally or physically for many years, I decided in 2025 to remaster the tracks and re-release them digitally on all major platforms.

If you enjoy the music of Sonic Cube, make sure to check out our second album “Filter”, released on Tribal Vision Records, along with various singles — and, after quite some time, some brand-new material such as the “Gold Digger” EP and tracks like “Touch The Sky.”
