Ukrainian duo Artbat make their first appearance on Definition:Music with a fantastic 2-track dancefloor killer.

‚Mandrake‘ is a beast of a track, coming right out of the gates with deep kicks and high pads. The track wastes no time in building itself even higher with a simple, melodic bassline and, ultimately securing its spot as a peak-time track.
‘Dissolved In Time’ follows suit, yet with a warmer vibe. Big drums sprinkled throughout give it power as the warmth of the pads pull the track together and fill the room with an amazing ambience. An amazing EP manicured for the late-night dancefloor enthusiast!

Joseph Thomas Price. A Londoner, producer who was born and raised in a family of musicians, he could not stay away from the constantly evolving and progressing electronic music. Owner of Polymath Records he also has  released his music on Systematic Recordings, Skint Records, Traum Schallplatten, 17 Steps and a Clash Lyon in the name of few.
“Amalgam” spikes and spins, laser beam synthlines cut through rumbling chords with snares that do more than just bear teeth. Joseph present his Amalgam version with giallo horror grandeur. Beats and words are shrouded in lilting strings for this sinister curtain fall. Rhythms ricochet and bass lines look in this lewd and dramatic track, a piece born in the grit and sweat of the floor under a haze smoke mixed with the beautiful vocals of the Berlin diva Delac.

Drumming into 2019 Bavarian artist duo Innellea started their most successful year up to date with their contribution to Innervisions' Secret Weapon compilation, which was followed by their tremendous remix for Tunnelvisions' 'Imaja's Drum' and the duo's cuts for the yearly Afterlife compilation 'Realm Of Consciousness' and TAU's essential summer potpourri 'Spektrum 1'. Basically the only thing missing is an entire EP by the ever busy studio- and DJ-partners Michi and Dani, Innelllea's real names behind the moniker, this year. In order to shorten the time until the artist duo's next release the hard-working musicians compiled the latest episode of Torture the Artist's art:cast special series, delivering 96 minutes of Innellea-approved tracks. And ever since their Afterlife Voyage mix it's known amongst music enthusiasts how much work the both put into their DJ-mixes as they came up with a mix consisting of own material only. For their art:cast Michi and Dani digged deep into their record case/ or hard-disk to compile a fluent mix that musically smoothly switches flawlessly from dark to melo over to deep and rock-ish as well as trancy without losing sigh of the Innellea sound.
