So I haven't uploaded anything in a while. I felt a bit more motivated to record something today and I came up with this. 

It's inspired by "Fuse", which is Keith Urbans 8th studio record. It has a more "machine" feel, hence the sample electronic drums.

Lyrics are coming along but here's a hint. The first line goes "I fell in love with a girl who couldn't love herself".

No Name So Far

Something I messed around with on a "Rainy Day" (hence the name). I've been writing and recording a tonne recently and this is just the start of many more songs to come. I'm even getting more comfortable with singing these songs (which surprisingly doesn't sound too awful) but it just comes down to mixing it right.
It's not perfect, but meh.

Everything was recorded by myself (including the rain at the beginning).
I'd much rather real drums on this than the boom kit that comes in Pro Tools, but oh well..

Just something that I came up with which I thought would sound nice and relaxing. Thought it was a beautiful night so I decided to record this outside with all the nocturnal creatures "singing" along. It's not perfect (but neither is life) but I enjoyed it so I hope you do too!
