Purple Brain Productions is the new label managed by Tommi Kinan aka Tommi Pixan, form Pixan recordings, and Carolina Fiori. The label is based on a complete free style idea of electronic music. This is a special mix of their first release "Cluster Sound" exclusively craft for the Art and Design gallery of Rome "Contemporary Cluster". From sonic landscapes to groovy experimental basslines we celebrate the absence of boundaries between the “inspiration” and the “opera”, the “art” and the “artist”. I am a lucky guy. Slowly but surely I get the chance to collaborate with most of the bands that made my day 2 decades ago. If back in 1994 anyone would tell me that I will remix Art of Trance or appear on their legendary label Platipus Records somewhere in the far future, I would probably roll on my back laughing at the idea ( I wasn't even intending making Electronic music at that time ). But what the blip do we know...

The first year I went to Burning Man, this was the sunrise anthem. Its probably Rodman's most recognized tune, and has been played my many other DJ's and producers throughout the years, most notably being frequently played by Bassnecter. 
I've tried to balance the idea of making a full on remix, with what I felt was the need to keep the original material and feel intact, and have focused on bringing the sound quality up to current standards, and adding some personal touches that don't change the original idea of the track too much. This is how I feel he should be remembered, as a brilliant, influential producer and caring person.

On the first 2020 edition of Lost Minute series, you can hear mixes by ERIL FJORD (vinyl-only DJ set) and MANDAAN (live).

Andras Toth, the electronic music producer and co-founder of Akkult record label began his career as a pianist and a techno DJ. Since 2007 he has been publishing his music at American, Canadian and German labels (Alphahouse Records, Little Helpers, New Kanada), while also performing solo piano concerts and composing movie soundtracks.

Krisztián Muhari, gaining his degree in trumpet at the Hague Conservatory of Music, is the trumpeter of the internationally recognized band called Bohemian Betyars, which evolved from the local pop and indie scene into a band being invited to several tours abroad (USA, Japan, China).
Besides, Krisztián also embraces and empowers local talents as well as composing his own music.

These two versatile talents came together and created a highly unique and innovative ambient production.
