Long time plus many stories passed by for this E.P. to be published. Two labels attempted to release it but it happily stayed home in the end. That said, label boss Sonico is proud to present his latest work compound by two tracks. On one side, -There is no God (that can test me)- standing for a strong thought with different interpretations, a common though that comes to our minds on post pandemic moments indeed but also a possible mantra for beings hardens under pressure. On the other side -We are Free (you make me feel)- … what do we know? are we really free? It doesn´t matter, as it seems this quote is associated to a feeling born from sharing with somebody special. In the end, who cares? music speaks by itself and these fresh songs know one and only one mission: break the dancefloors worldwide, so pump up the volume and let them do their magic!

Mucho tiempo e historias pasaron para que este E.P. conociera la luz. Dos sellos intentaron publicarlo, pero felizmente se quedó en casa al final. Dicho esto, Sonico, curador de Techsound, se enorgullece en presentar su último trabajo compuesto por 2 canciones. Por un lado -No hay Dios (que pueda ponerme a prueba)- representa una fuerte idea con diferentes interpretaciones, un pensamiento común que nos viene a la mente en momentos post pandémicos sí, pero también un posible mantra para los seres que se endurecen bajo presión. Por otro lado -Somos Libres (me haces sentir) .. qué sabemos?, ¿somos realmente libres? Da igual, parece que la frase esta asociada al sentimiento que nace cuando compartes con alguien especial. ¿Al final, a quién le importa? la música habla por sí misma y estos frescos tracks conocen solo una misión: mover las pistas de baile de todo el mundo, así que ¡súbele al volumen y deja que hagan su magia!

We are very happy to present the second volume of -El Sonido de Bogotá- an album by several artists with a common root, the city of Bogotá. And how can we not honor the city with the most active electronic music circuit in not only Latin America but in all of America? For this reason, we have chosen the Extra series from Techsound Records, which since its origin has been dedicated to publishing techno in its broadest sense, but always faithful to its style. 

This release aims to exalt and vindicate such sound in post-pandemic days where gender distortion prevails. And being clear that this city has positioned itself on the world party circuit, we now also want to highlight the artists who help create a musical identity for the city and the country.

The music speaks, so turn up the volume, listen and the sound of Bogotá.

Estamos muy felices de presentar el segundo volumen de -El Sonido de Bogotá- un disco de varios artistas con una raíz común, la ciudad de Bogotá. ¿Y cómo no hacerle honor a la ciudad con el circuito de música electrónica más activo de no solo Latino América sino de todo América? Por eso, hemos escogido la serie Extra de Techsound Records, la cual desde su origen se ha dedicado a publicar techno en su sentido más amplio, pero siempre fiel al su estilo. 

Este reléase pretende exaltar y reivindicar dicho sonido en días post pandémicos donde la distorsión del género prima. Y siendo claro que dicha ciudad se ha posicionado en el circuito mundial de fiestas, queremos ahora destacar también los artistas que ayudan a crear una identidad musical para la ciudad y el país. 

La música habla, así que súbele al volumen, escucha y el sonido de Bogotá.

If you think about the growth of the electronic scene in Latin America you should have to mention the name of Sonico aka Sonicore.

As unstoppable promoter, label manager, booker, club owner and true soul techno head since 1995, Sonico/re has been playing, producing and promoting electronic culture from Colombia/South America to the world making parties, bookings and music through his labels and event brands Techsound and Hardcodelia founded in 1.999 and 2007.

A political way of thinking, open minded music formation, endless marathon mixing journeys on almost all 4/4 styles mixed up with eclectic music production and sensitivity in any rave manifestation have grant him a solid reputation around the globe on several different music scenes from techno to hardcore. Sonico is in fact one of those guys who been working it out the right way for years and have never corrupted on his serious ideas regarding the techno scene, keeping low profile but high reputation status.
