Velvet Morning is a project of 19 year old singer songwriter Samuel Jones. Hailing from a seaside town called Leigh-on-Sea Sam deals with exploring sounds he describes as ‘Smooth Psychedelia’. The sound of Velvet Morning was born from listening to copious amounts of psych from the last 50 years or so and inspired by various recording techniques and the idea of capturing a specific personal identity through pushing obscure sounds into a modern pop structure. With a strong focussed groove based rhythm section, djangly, atmospheric effect layered guitar work, huge reverberated melodies combined with the very surrealist lyrics sometimes being almost fictional talking of psychological and occasionally physical feelings with the evolution of band mates Chris Richardson (drums), John Kirkwood (bass) and Luke Elgar (guitars) the bands sound only becomes more vivid, ethereal and euphoric.

Stereovoid is an Athenian three piece band obsessed with post illusory music, spacetime monkeys and other evergreen activities. Being influenced by a fluctuation of genres they never cease surprising you as a listener of good music. Simplicity and truth, basic elements of what they do connect with complexity, creating what you heard above. They just clicked as people and musicians and since the early 2013 they've been writing music and playing in shows and parties all around Athens.

The Noise Tigers are a noise pop band from Vienna, Austria. They make dream pop for introverts. Their sound is influenced by post-punk, new wave, 8-bit and the warm fuzzy cloud of shoegaze.
Their debut EP, 'Waking Up', a record that takes place in the last thirty seconds of dreaming before you wake up, was released in March 2014. They are currently working on their first full length album.

The Bellybuttons are a four-piece formed in Glasgow in 2013.

They create fuzzy slacker-pop with the focus being on catchy melodies and a lo-fi aesthetic. Snotty and satirical lyrics create a melancholy sound which is wrapped up in bouncing riffs and sprawling reverb. 

The development of the song-writing process and experimentation with discordance over the last year has transformed their music into something altogether more expressive and engaging with the release of their second EP expected in early 2015.

Demonstrating a penchant for analog synthesizers, odd time signatures and vocal harmonies, Golden Death Music combines organic and delicate textures that compress the psychedelic grandeur of sprawling epics like Pink Floyd's "Echoes" into more accessible, but no less affecting 3-4 minute not-quite-pop songs. 

Ultimately, Golden Death Music is a documentation of one person's journey through life towards the inevitable end and all of the defeats and triumphs along the way.

The pop hooks are there, along with the noise. Opposite sides of the same coin, black and white, day and night, bleeding and blending together. Songs about love, hate, madness, sex and the end of the world. The machine never misses a beat. There is a copious amount of minimalism; only the bare necessities are utilized, a line and some words. There is a symmetry that is struggling to be framed; burning to be feared. A droning sense of bleakness, a fuzzed out thunder regurgitated to a .wav file. Now these, these are the primal aesthetics.

“Parallel World / Into The Void” is the second release by Bonebrokk, following his debut self-released EP “Stop Thinking Start Acting”.

In this double A-side single, Bonebrokk finds himself exploring an adventurous world of his own creation.

Showing a progression in his sound, this material lies on the ambient side of modern “bass music” while it retains a dancefloor friendly character and tempos.

Sonic Playground is a creative space based in Athens, Greece.

For the past sixteen years, it has been home to musicians, sound engineers, DJs, directors, visual artists, graphic designers, art lovers
and has strived to promote their work and projects to the general public.

Our activities include running a magazine, a record label, a recording studio, organizing concerts and club nights, as well as working
closely with festivals which welcome both Greek and international artists.

Our aim is to bring together like-minded people and foster collaboration, and assist them by providing all the necessary human and technical help.
Inspired by the DIY philosophy in everything we do, we support the entire creative process, from nurturing the original concept to supporting
