Ah yes, the classic, powerful invincibility theme. Much better than Sonic 3's version of it.

Invincibility (Sonic and Knuckles)

The original game had All-Star Resting Area music from Super Smash Bros. Melee as the music for Base. For this track, I mixed in the All-Star Resting Area music from Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

This version contains a drum loop. It will be heard when you are at the resting base before heading to the last 2 levels in the game.

Resting Base B - Sonic vs Darkness OST

I've been checking out MJ's work again lately and remembered that this absolute banger exists, so I decided to give it the proper Mega Drive treatment it deserves. For those who don't listen to much Michael Jackson other than his big hits, you may instead recognise this from Sonic Megamix's City Outskirts Zone Act 1.

Well...This one started like a joke and slowly started to get better and better to the point I had to end it as soon as possible so someone can hear it. It's really difficult to suppass the expectation of the high tension of the moment in the game and the oc remix (which you can hear I did the same thing with the bass at the first second of the track).
I wanted to keep it diverse without sounding to repetitive the track, although you can hear I didn't extend it like QQZ past, because I don't think I'm capable of doing a nice intersection, melody, chord progression, solo, etc... for this really special track ; - ; (And because I was to hyped to upload this).
