In the summer of 2023 the Dutch government auctioned a number of large FM frequency packages to commercial radio stations for anther 12 years, creating possible big changes in the radio playing field. Next to DAB+ and online, FM contributes to 35% of radio consumption* (*July 2023).  Here's the FM related pre TOTH's, promo's and imaging that aired from July to September to make listeners aware of the new situation.

Nostalgie have partnered with Wisebuddah since 2017, and to accompany their 2023 revamp, Play Nostalgie asked our team of composers to produce a host of generic station themes, show themes and new Information Elements.

Featuring a broad range of styles and instrumentation, the package was inspired by some of the station’s favourite classics to modern hits to accompany their varied playlist.

These sweepers tell a story and paint a picture. It's selling what Veronica is all about in a new, edgy and cool style that can't be heard anywhere else. The SONIC SPRING signature combined with Veronica's rich imaging heritage. Featuring Marisa and new station voice Marcel Jonker.

VERONICA SWEEPERS '23

German state-broadcaster, WDR4, have unveiled their major first station sound overhaul in nearly a decade, produced by Wisebuddah. 

Promoting an 80s-centred Oldie-format, with modern production; the bespoke package features over 40 distinct compositions: including a host of genre and intensity-bridging Transition IDs; Generic Station IDs; a brand-new Information Suite; and 16 bespoke Show Themes, with a mix of Pop and Rock genre inspirations.
