On The Slipway

A microtonal composition using PHI clock divisions (fm reverse bass), semi generative sequencers, and a logic sequencer which drives the midbass and the bells and the stabs. The bell sounds unfortunately carry a slight dc offset. Unmastered straight out of VCV rack.

Composed in 7 limit Hexany. This one is an experiment in tempo modulation found in Guqin music and classical.

my first large TET track, experimenting with detuning as ornamentation. Inspired by folk music techniques.

Pyramide (53tet)

The thing about non repeating octaves is if you go too far above or below the fundamental its goes "out". Working with this was interesting because synths can be octave shifted easily and you find yourself making creative decisions on timbre that you wouldn't normally think about.
