Here, the signal seems to come from a place whose remoteness is not defined by distance, but adjacency: these are alternate reality bops.

Seven suites of deep and sprawling sonic meditations built around ‘call and response’ improv sessions between Randy Raine-Reusch and Michael Red.

Initially realized over the course of a few days in Randy’s instrument museum in Vancouver BC [December, 2014] 'ERAS' is made up of processed, and sometimes multi tracked, improvisations between Randy and Michael. Through these sessions Randy would choose instruments he sensed possibilities within, and Michael then revealed and sculpted these possibilities. Both resonating, sensing sonic structures, environmental nuances, and further worlds in each other’s art, all within the moment. Being present for each other, they acted on instinct, trusting a first thought, trusting each other; committing, responding to that commitment, then mutating and letting go. Always moving forward, synthesizing and letting the living moment lead the way.

That which beats and resonates within you. From the Pleroma to the material world, you can experience a vibration similar to that of a heartbeat. A steady rhythm that resonates in the honey of our memory. And who can taste it?

This record draws inspiration from ancient cultures that sought to liberate the spirit from its material concerns; Gnostic-Tolteca ideas reflected in the vibrations, lyrics, numerology, and hermetic content of this EP. The aim is for these frequencies, transformed into cosmic music—illbient, jungle, amapiano, Mxfunky, dancehall, and bass—to resonate with that infinite heartbeat.

Truth, naked and bold, often blurred by the falsehoods of reality. We awaken in our dreaming, inventing, and imagining, only to forget soon afterward. Blissfully.

As above, so below; as outside, so within—we come here not for much else but to remember, then to forget.

‘El Latino del Infinito’ is a  six song long player from Mexico’s Eduardo Legazpi aka Primordial Ohm. Ft. Old Astronauts on tracks 1 & 2. Out July 25th.

Crespi Drum Syndicate is a collaboration between long-time friends and musical cohorts, Pablo Arrangoiz (El Gusano/Goiz) and Jonathan Trujillo (Jonny From Space). "Beats" developed from a desire to make music centered around rhythm and percussion, atonal sounds, inharmonic hooks, and a mutual agreement to refrain from melody and harmony as much as possible. The record is the result of their first sessions with this concept in mind. Inspired by the proto-techno of '60s and '70s Italian library music, motorik kraut grooves, Latin dance music, orchestral percussion pieces, dancehall riddims, and dub engineering.

Written, recorded, and mixed in Coral Gables, Florida, August to September 2022. 

Out September 6th, 2024. Edition of 100 CD-R's.

In the early nineties, directly influenced by the Summer of Love of 1988, Florentine Riccardo Falsini began his project I Believe–a miscellaneous collection of records, compilations, and collaborations–released through his label Interactive Test (co-run with brother Franco Falsini). 

These sounds would eventually reach Vancouver-based producer AVR (Avery La Rochelle) in the summer of 2018. Compelled by Riccardo’s legacy as a producer and a deejay, Avery reached out to the Italian producer. 

A friendship formed that would see them collaborate on various dance events in Vancouver, as well as their Outside Of Time EP, a reverie of hallucinatory trance music. Over the past year, the duo recorded these tracks with the free spirit of early rave culture in mind.

Outside Of Time is certified dance floor therapy that inspires the listener to believe in the power of love and music.
