The first demo of the Neutron Sound Brainstorm module.

This is a demo of the p-box. A p-box is a container that controls group of frags arranged as a "voice". whatever is routed between frags on the voice will be copied to the other voices.

All that is playing here Is drums from VPME.DE QD and Brainstorm poly sample player with 8 voices and 4 frags, sample player, envelope, filter, and output VCA. later on I turned on a delay (4MS DLD). the sample is a common fairlight sample called "FlangeGuitC3" I adjust filter cutoff, A,D,S,R and turn sequencer tracks on and off manually.

This patch uses about 7000/14000 available CPU cycles per sample.

This recording is a bit bad, sorry. its mostly because sampler interpolation was off.

Brainstorm demo 1: Poly Sample FlangeguitC3

A quick demo of some of the new features of the A 157-b alt firmware. Using the A 157 trigger sequencer as a clock to drive 2 A 155's set to 15 steps, steps 4,8,12 & 16 are set to ratchet 3 times producing a triplet. These steps are also set to random (70% chance they will play), the VCO is an A 110 triangle out into a VCA, notes shaped by an A 140 ADSR and put through an A 187-1 in chorus and delay mode.

Looper (new and improved algo) via Robert Rich. Detailed patch notes as follows:
Started with lap steel guitar, through Boss ME70 guitar pedal (providing some gain, EQ, short stereo delay and a bit of fuzz.) Started looping at the beginning of playing, then pressed “Tap” to go into overdub mode at approximately 14 seconds, and kept it in Overdub mode throughout the recording, so that it would slowly decay with the EQ, Warble and Sat/Drive further affecting each generation. I have the Resampling set to Quantize at octaves, starting at the 2.00 speed (letting me go up or down)

At the 3 minute point, I increase the EQ, Warble and Drive settings. After about 30 seconds you can hear the EQ get darker. Slowly the Drive adds additional decay and grit with each recirculation.

At 5:40 I set the direction to Reverse, and increase the Drive and Warble, you can hear it quickly get more grungy.

At 6:21 I shift the speed up one octave, then down two octaves. Now it is recirculating at the 8.0 setting, with large amounts of Drive and Warble. In the last minute, you mostly just hear grungy remnants. At around 7:50, speed is back up to 1.0 (an octave higher than the start) and I cut it off.
