El romancero, una de las formas más ricas y antiguas de la poesía en el mundo hispánico, ha mantenido una relación profunda con la música a lo largo de los siglos. Esta forma de poesía narrativa, que emergió en la Edad Media, ha sido transmitida de generación en generación a través de la tradición oral, muchas veces acompañada de melodías que realzan su contenido emocional.

Crecí en un hogar donde las melodías eran más que simples notas; eran el latido de nuestra existencia. He admirado las grandes voces, aquellas que, con su potencia y emotividad, pueden transformar lo cotidiano en sublime.
