Tu Tu Hai Wahi (Cover)

I had a fun time creating this multi-track cover song in iPad Air 4 using Garage Band with an audio interface, dynamic mic, acoustic guitar and a keyboard as a midi controller. This cover song is a multi-track recording but without any audio mixing and mastering. For vocals and guitar, I did double track recording, one for the left channel and the other for the right channel. So headphones/ good pair of speakers are recommended to experience better sound.

Aankho Me Teri (Cover)

This is a self initiated song/ music that I created out of my love for creating music. I primarily created this music track for fun sake and to experiment. I want to experiment and collaborate with different artistes.
Something struck my mind - a basic chord progression and a melody. Then I created rest of the things spontaneously in this music track arrangement.
I want to share this track with as many other artistes as possible. So that they can further add something to it. Be it vocals or lyrics or rap something over it or just simple humming or doing alaap or sargam or playing guitar or any musical instrument solo or multiple things or whatever they wish to do. I want them to treat this music track as a beat and take it forward by adding something over this track or doing whatever they wish.
If you wish to do so, please feel free to do. You can do it from the very starting point to the end section or in the middle or in the end section only. The idea is to make it better (or I would rather say - take it forward) and have fun. Cheers!

Experimental Music - Beat Making For Collaboration (Original)

In connection with my previous post (Experimental Music - Beat Making for Collaboration - Original) dated 15/August/2022, I am presenting an instrumental medley/ mash-up (of my Original + Baatein kuch ankahee si + Papa kehte hai) as an example.
I played a few lines of the aforementioned two songs over my original music track as an experiment. It was a fun project. I tweaked my original music track a little to fit these two songs. You can check out that previous post to hear the original music track and to get the brief.
After this mash-up, it is now sounding like a techno-pop and hip-hop fusion to me 😃 but I loved this experiment. Let me know how is it sounding. I hope you would enjoy listening to this track.

This is a self portrait and my new makeover - Post Surgery Look 😛 in this cover art.
I was humming this tune and started this non sense lyrics purely for fun sake. While I was painting this portrait (cover art), I thought of making a music/song with this tune and lyrics and use it as background music for a time lapse video which shows the painting process of this self portrait (uploaded on my YouTube and Vimeo channel). I created this song in Logic Pro X. Hope you enjoy the song.

Malgudi

This song is a cover of "Aap Jaisa Koi Meri Zindagi Me Aaye" from the 1980 Bollywood movie, Qurbani. It was the debut song of a Pakistani singer, Nazia Hassan, and was composed by Indian producer Biddu and lyrics were written by Indeevar. Music direction was given by Kalyanji Anandji in the film. The song was featured in the film as an item number, picturised on Zeenat Aman. It has been remixed and sampled by many other artists.

Commercially, my first project as a Music Composer with my brother. This song was created for a contest, "I am Dehradun" season 2 by Pacific Mall, Dehradun. Pacific Mall was searching for "Face of Doon" from many fields. In this context, the song was created as a jingle for promotional video and activity.

Doon Song (Original)

I recorded this as a self initiated project, done purely out of my love for creating music. This Mash-up/ Medley of two old Hindi songs is an instrumental cover in the key of C major. Initially I thought of using Harmonica/ Mouth-Organ as a lead but I could not play it very fluently, so I used Melodica/ Pianica instead as a lead instrument. Rest of the musical instruments have been used as accompaniment.
The first song, "Ae DIl Hai Mushkil Jeena Yahan - Yeh Hai Bombay Meri Jaan" has originally been composed by O.P. Nayyar for a 1956 Hindi Film, C.I.D. and the lyrics have been written by Majrooh Sultanpuri and sung by Mohammed Rafi and Geeta Dutt. The song was picturised on Johnny Walker.
The second song, "Bhanware Ki Gunjan Hai Mera Dil" from a 1971 Hindi Film, "Kal Aaj Aur Kal" has originally been composed by Shankar Jaikishan, lyrics have been written by Hasrat Jaipuri and the song was sung by Kishore Kumar. The song starred Randhir Kapoor and Babita.

Anjane Kyun (Cover)

Presenting an original song, "Muskurate Raho". It was written and composed in 2018 mainly for an ad jingle of Iffco-Tokio Insurance. The tagline of the brand is "Muskurate Raho" and this is why their tagline was intentionally used in the lyrics of the whole song. We presented a rough draft of the song during an ad agency pitch to the client. After so many months, I finally made a multi-track recorded version of the song. This song is not just relevant as an ad jingle for the brand but also relevant for each one of us in real life too.
