Sneffinsky:

Born and raised in the beautiful Ahr Valley in western Germany I always had the calming natural influence of forests and small mountains, which has been inspiring me ever since I can think. Until today this connection has continuosuly grown and there’s no place I feel more at home than the outdoors. 
Moving to Cologne in 2017 then sparked my deep passion for the world of electronic music which is experiencing a constant organic shaping by many artists of different genres. In 2019 I made a first step & started mixing music myself and got to play at various privately organized events so far. Over time I have been getting into progressive, deep, melodic house and techno a lot, through which I can best express the synergy of nature and music united in me. My fundamental concept while playing music is to let people dream and join me on a journey through other dimensions of perception.  
Being really just at the beginning of my musical journey, I’m positively looking forward to what is yet to come – hopefully releasing my own productions in the future.
For now I hope you can enjoy listening to this set as much as I enjoyed playing it for ya!

Welcome back once again to the Depth Perception Sessions.

This week we welcome The very talented Clawz SG from Lille, France.

Bio:

Born in the city of Lille, Frenchman Clawz SG has been a devout electronic music enthusiast for a very long time. After many years of clubbing his passion naturally flourished, inspiring him to immerse himself even further into the music scene.

It’s only recently however, that his name has started to circulate, becoming synonymous with the current Deep House and Melodic Techno sounds of today. Nevertheless, Clawz SG stays true to his roots and remains an old-school synth aficionado from way back, having collected an impressive selection of numerous analogue vintage synthesizers over the years.

His ardour for producing was originally something he engaged in purely for himself and his friends, however after much support and encouragement he finally decided to take that final step, thus paving way for the birth of Clawz SG. His debut release with Parquet Recordings in 2014, was a significant mile stone clocking up two highly acclaimed collaborated tracks titled “Obvious” and “Abyss”.

The success from Parquet 082 cemented a solid springboard for his musical art form and it opened the flood gates to a succession of accomplished releases. To date he has remixed and produced originals with a number of well-established labels, including Steyoyoke, Inner Symphony, TRAUM, Natura Viva, Inlab Recordings, Blendwerk, Save Us Records and Making You Dance Records.

Born and raised in Guanajuato, México, has been living for the past 9 years in Oslo, Norway. Having spent most of his childhood in the mountain hills of the Mexican "bajío" with his indigenous ancestors brought big influence to his life. Pre-hispanic, folkloric, Latin-American, tribal and shamanic sounds conform an essential part of his musical exploration. This is for him, a way to keep his roots alive. Saul introduces complex sets, giving as result a multi-cultural sounds journey which appears to transport you to ancient rituals, always by the hand, naturally, of powerful and hypnotic basslines. Oslo has welcomed him with open arms and he's now earned the city's nightlife respect due to his consistent work. With his international debut show at iconic party Woomoon Ibiza, he's proven his talent goes beyond borders and it's ready to turn the dancefloor into the party everyone wishes to experience.

After a long corona break, I was blessed enough to play before the musical soulmates @caleesi and @sarahkreis at Mystic Creatures' 2nd annivesary in H13.  These two women, as a duo, have been my biggest musical inspiration in the last 3 years. Dancing to their sets has transformed me and made me truly discover and touch new depths of my own being. For this and for all the inspiration so far, I thank you two from the botton of my heart! <3
