Frekker Podcasts & Guest Mixes

At the age of 45 Frekker found his way into electronic music late.
While going to the first electronic music parties, it was clear that partying on the dance floor is not enough for him. He wants more. Inspired by the musical inputs of his friends at Radikon and Nown Music, he puts a lot of energy on his DJ and listening skills. So his travel into the deep world of playing music starts quickly. After only on year of intense practice he played his first 15 h set this summer and is looking forward to some bookings and clubs and festivals till the next years
His mixing style of energetic driving tracks from various electro genres, heats up and pushes you forward on the dance floor or while listening at your warm up or afterhour sessions.

Frekker (@frekker_schmecker) found his way to electronic music late but as the love for it grew in him faster and faster, it was clear that just celebrating on the dance floor was not enough for him. I usually do a presentation or teaser for the Sunday session. The session of this sunday is focused in a REFLECTION and although I have made a presentation, I must not publish it because this presentation is politically incorrect and possibly I have problems, specially with the social medias. Without this presentation, the purpose of the session and even the cover may not be completely clear, since without it it can create confusion by being part, everything, of the same idea. So if you listen the session, with the cover that appears, and you have some dude, or simply you want to see the presentation, send me a private message through FB and I will show you the presentation. I want to make it clear, that this work is part of a general REFLECTION of mine, although at first glance it may seem that it only focuses on one person, so without the presentation can be create this confusion.

If anyone felt offended, I apologize in advance, it is not my intention. I have always myself better with image and sound or music, than with words, that’s why I needed to do this job.

The most of sessions that I do come from my heart… this has come from my soul. Normally the objective that I seek, when I do my sessions, is fundamentally that people dance… not this one! this is only a REFLECTION. Fear, terror, sadness, joy, despair, rage, courage, hate, war, hope, joy, strength and peace, I was thinking about all this when I was preparing it. I hope this all ends soon. A big hug for all <3

BIOGRAPHY

To evoke an emotional response from his audience is what Pedro, the Spanish native from Córdoba, tries in his mixes and productions. 

Pedro moved to Berlin in 2015 after finishing several courses in Music Production. This was when he started collecting his first vinyls and mixing tracks.
 
Metrica club (Málaga) in 2013 was his first appearance as an artist. Now based in Berlin, he plays in venues such as Sisyphos, Generator, Minimal Bar and Luzia, where he shows his versatility, attention to detail and ability to read and adapt to the audience.
 
His project Nimbo started in the summer of 2022 at Generator Biergarten. Some of the international artists who supported include: Sandrino, Manu Strasse, Los Cabra, Ede, Tom Peters, Just Lauren, Pascale Voltaire, and many others.
 
Critics, followers and pals are defining his sound as organic hypnotic melancholic. But his mixes are energetic and unexpected, covering Techno, Indie, House and Ambient.
