Berlin-based Mona Moore has been a passionate lover of electronic music since the year 2000. Sooner or later, she just had to venture behind the decks. She had her debut in what she now calls "her living room" - the iconic Berlin club, KaterBlau. Since then, she has performed innumerable times both within and outside of the capital. 

Over the last year or so, Moore has entered the production side of things with original releases on Katz&Kauz and Rebellion der Traumer. Mona describes her music as describes a deep, groovy and melodic techno / deep house. Her philosophy when she is playing: "Sharing the love of music and thereby forgetting a few hours of space and time"

We have been following Mona Moore for a couple of years now, and love her unique take on melodic techno. We are super grateful for this exclusive mix, Institution 069: Mona Moore

On his sets Jafi invites us to enjoy a nice and warm energy to dance and to vibe with the right songs.

An eventful year is coming to an end. We have reached many milestones with our podcast series and our record label. In addition, we could finally continue our own event series and invited many friends to play in our living room. An absolute highlight was our summer tour with gigs in Gran Canaria and Thailand. Manchmal sind wir der Oberfläche des Bewusstseins derart nahe, dass wir uns im Klaren darüber sind gerade zu träumen. Wir öffnen unsere Augen und nehmen mit wachem Verstand den blauen Himmel wahr. Mit unseren Handflächen ertasten wir das satte Grün unter uns. Wenn wir den Kopf drehen erblicken wir eine weite üppig bewachsene Ebene. Dahinter Hügel deren Vegetation von Scharlach bis Azurblau, von hellem Grün über flammendes Gelb bis hin zu Tiefrosa reicht. Unsere Augen sind verzückt vom Spiel der Farben. Wir verspüren das Verlangen aufzustehen. Sind aber zu schwach und zu benommen. Hilflos drehen und wenden wir unseren Kopf auf der Suche nach Halt.
Plötzlich durchdringen Geräusche die liebgewonnene Stille. Zunächst scheinen sie Krawallmacher in unserer Idylle zu sein. Doch es sind unsere Ohren, die die Klänge verzerren. Sie scheinen betäubt zu sein. Mit der Zeit wird aus dem dumpfen Krach, ein rhythmisches Brummen. Bald darauf hören wir immer klarer und wir beginnen die unbekannten Töne genauso zu lieben, wie das vorherige Nichts. Wo vor kurzem noch Schwäche herrschte, beflügelt uns jetzt die Musik. Wir heben sanft vom Boden ab und schweben über der Ebene...
Lasst euch von den Rhythmen von Kuba and Fry durch die Landschaft tragen und genießt das Gefühl der Unbeschwertheit.

Not only the aspiring era of electronic music in the 90s, but also the passion for electronic sounds guided his way behind the domestic decks early on. The fire of a deep relationship with electronic music has definitely been boosted by this. So it should not take long before the passion for mixing and djing led to various own party series as well as to a residency in a club in his city of birth Göttin- gen. Other stations followed, such as a weekly show at the online radio We-love-house.fm, or vari- ous gigs, for example in the legendary Stammheim Kassel, the Warehouse in Cologne or the Juicy- Beats Festival in Dortmund. In his adopted hometown Hamburg, Herr Oppermann is a regularly act in the local clubs of the city as well as a host of the Hamburg based podcast series „Klangextase“.
As a DJ, Herr Oppermann transforms his dedication to music to the audience, combining classic and modern elements of electronic music. His style describes a varied journey between deep,minimalist elements and Tech – House, turning each of his sets into a journey of sound with a lot of variety.
With his releases on Tach & Nacht and Amber Recordings, he also shows his producer qualities by transferring his close relationship with electronic music into melodic tech house tracks.
