Bluesinha is a cheeky little blues that tells the story of a smooth-talking hustler who underestimated the girl — and ended up getting what he deserved. But in the end, they find common ground, and desire wins out. A tale of love for lust, or maybe lust for love.

Water Colour

Recorded in 2021. remastered.  I have to have a new way to play the piano. My sister and my son are doing that. They are working out a way to bring the piano to my hospital bed. I can no longer sit up, even in my powerchair. It's too uncomfortable and hard to breathe. I don't have functioning back or abdominal muscles, and I can't lift my head off my chest unless In laying back. Only my arms and hands are semi-functioning. My thumbs are going bad. I can't pull a zipper. I won't be able to play as well and I don't know how I'll work the sustain pedal - but I'll do my best! 😊🎶🎹🎶

The Cello, the 'self,' now takes center stage. A long, lyrical, and searching soliloquy—a question asked into the cold, ambient dark. But this time, an answer. A sparse, celestial 'ping' replies. The Kalimba, the first 'trace' of memory. 'Ambient Stone' is the sound of this first, fragile duet: the internal emotion and the external memory, weaving together in a pensive, awakening dance. The stone is no longer cold; it's alive.

Dive into the deep emotional landscape of "To Suffer", an evocative instrumental track that masterfully blends heavy bass with ambient and electronic elements.

I created this album over the course of a few months, slowly shaping each track and exploring new sounds with the limited tools I had available. 

Working within those boundaries made the process even more rewarding, and I found so much joy in discovering what could be done using only the presets in Ableton. It reminded me that creativity often thrives when you have to make the most of what you have.

This album is dedicated to my dogs, Lucy and Pepper, who were with me every step of the way. They would often curl up nearby while I worked, listening patiently as the music took form. 

There is something really special about knowing that even they seem to enjoy the sounds I create. Their presence brought warmth and inspiration to every session, and in many ways, they helped make this album what it is.

Terraria (Feat. Shaun Chapman)

My music pieces are all piano improvisations expressing emotions. It is music telling stories without the words. In my earIy years I sang and played piano in piano bars or fronted bands of different styles, from country to heavy metal and to 40. I've been composing, teaching and performing most of my life.  I'm getting old(er) now 😔 but the great thing about creating music is it gets better the longer you play, and you have more to write about! 

This is what I leave of me to my generations to come who wonder where their desire to make music comes from. My mother, grandmother and great grandmother were both accomplished pianists when they were young. My son is also exceptional.  My great grandmother and gr grandfather sang and danced in minstrel shows (vaudeville) in the early 1900's. Kids today have no idea what life was like before moving pictures.  I now have great-grandchildren. They will know who I am through my music. When I am gone my music will still be here. What a wonderful thought!
