I’d give you a bit of an insight and the method to the madness thinking behind why so many edits/bootlegs are being done from us right now. ✔️

Primarily we are making these for our own sets and Word of Mouth events.  🎉
Our events from private to commercial can be from an intimate garden party, wedding to our very own festival with 5000 people and with an audience from 18-80 - No joke! 🤯

Add also to the mix that approx would you say 50/60% of big leisure nightclubs have closed down in major towns of cities? 🤔
So this is huge market that normally would enjoy accessible, quality music? 

No one loves brand new cutting edge music more than us - There’s no better feeling than hearing a new original track for the first time right? ✊🏽

BUT! With that being said mix all of the points above - Varied age ranges, accessible/relatable sounds and a new modern sounding beat = You have a new edit/mash up that all being well will work in the current climate right here, right now. 💣

Getting these to you and trying to get your plays of course means we can continue to get further reach and awareness for our brand as a whole.

After a series of standout releases in 2023 on labels like Nervous and Armada Subjekt, Carly Wilford has secured her space as one of the most promising new names in dance music. Announced as one of the ‘Future of Dance’ best producers in the world by 1001Tracklists and with shows at Glastonbury and Radio One’s ’Big Weekend’, she is firing on all cylinders right now. Here she drops her debut single on Toolroom, but her involvement and relationship with the label goes back many years.

Carly is an avid attendee at our ‘We Are Listening’ events that encourage women in dance music, she has completed 2 Toolroom Academy production courses and has signed 2 album exclusives to the label in recent years, so this is a real career highlight and success story that proves, hard work does pay off! Here she teams up with dubstep legend SGT Pokes who, for the first time in his career, lends his trademark, gritty vocals to a tech house track.

The record itself is a heads-down, tech house stomper! It has a real unique, original flavour and will be setting dance floors alight as we enter 2024!

::BIOGRAPHY::

Sonny Taylor, this young man is certainly one to look out for in the near future. A South London House bomb is exploding on to the scene. A Dj/Producer that is immensely well respected in the Underground world of House with his recent record releases just a hint of what lays in store for us all. Still only very young at 31 this undeniable talent has been heavily immersed in all styles of Dance genres since the late 1990's.

His introduction to the industry was a passion for Drum and Bass which in time moved on to Funky house. However, Sonny's appetite for new,more appealing, sounds found him drawn towards  the pinnacle of digital music, that being Techno. It is here where Mr Taylor is at home.

Sonny Taylor has been a regular face on the London Club circuit since 2001 with regular appearances at Ministry of sound, Pacha, Seone, Hidden, Turnmills, Coronet, Egg to name but a few. Sonny's incredible talent to judge a dancefloor is certainly a major strength which has seen many a flagging dancefloor revived to an energetic frenzy once Sonny takes over the Pioneer reigns. A promoters dream.

In recent years Sonny has shifted his concentration into the studio with immediate success. His vast experience in Djing right across the musical board is responsible for the chunky, minimal and bouncy techno being churned out in his studio. Sonny has the envious talent of having the ability to produce tracks that simply dominate the crowd with heavy, simple, rolling beats accompanied by teasing, aggressive build ups.

As well as excelling in the UK scene this immensely charismatic DJ has been a regular in the Ibizan scene with regular appearances at the hedonistic and infamous Dirty Rotten Slut party that has rocked the San Antonio, Ibiza Underground Workers scene since 2005. This has brought him notoriety that has filtered back to our native British shores.

Sonny has recently been given the exciting news that he is the 2011 Resident DJ in several brand new events taking place in the powder keg of Croatia. This will give S.T the chance to bring his stomping, pure sound to the untouched shores of, what is seen as, the next Ibiza. An unrivaled musical springboard.

 No one deserves this more than Sonny as this is a man that has not been bogged down in industry politics and over eagerness, thus, the genuine article comes across in both his music and personality.
