UK DJ and production duo Peverell have been contributing to the dance music scene since the late 1990's. They are known for their versatile style, blending genres from Soulful, Disco House and Jackin' tracks, delivering vibrant performances. Peverell have held residencies and performed across Europe, including Ibiza. They have released over 50 tracks and remixes on labels such as Let There Be House, Phoenix Music, Love To Be, Jango Music and more. A notable highlight in their career is the remix of their original track 'Way Back', by house music legend Roger Sanchez, a collaboration with Ron Carroll.
Brighton's Kuuda are a talented dance music collective, comprised of 3 producer/songwriter/vocalists, Charlie, Maeve and Ollie. All from different musical backgrounds, Kuuda encompass a style that can range from Progressive/Afro to Jackin House to Emotive Breakbeat in both production and lead vocals. They have been making big waves on the scene with collaborations with Franky Wah, Hot Since 82, KeeQ, Artche, Sam Divine, James Organ on both Shèn Recordings and BLOND:ISH’s imprint Abracadabra. Their recent single with Hot Since 82, ‘ALIVE’, gained BBCR1 support from Pete Tong and Danny Howard. Kuuda have lots of exciting new music in the pipeline including releases on Crosstown Rebels and Let There Be House.
With over 20 years of dedication to the global electronic music scene, Yousef's contribution can’t be over exaggerated and he is considered one of the best, most skilful and most respected UK DJs of all time. As a producer, Yousef has now completed his 5th artist album, the truly accomplished 'I Operate in Purple'. Yousef has released more music on the world’s best record labels than almost any other artist in his field. Seminal releases on Crosstown Rebels, Desolat, Cocoon, Moon Harbour, Knee Deep in Sound, Defected, Hard Times, Renaissance and of course his own legendary Circus Recordings. Circus has released music from dance giants including Carl Cox, Kerri Chandler, Green Velvet and Jamie Jones and is known breaking new talent too.

Returning with her second EP "What We Leave Behind", Krash Cora explores the connection of acid techno with tribal percussion and trance-influenced melodies. She builds dancefloor tools that feel ceremonial – made for movement, but carrying something deeper beneath.
Follow her voyage from outer space to deep sea, across vast dunes and raw wastelands. It is a record about our traces and memories, allowing the listener to imagine what echoes we leave behind for whoever or whatever comes next.

James is back with more That Driving Beat!  He got his founding co-host of the show moved down to Texas, and now it's a one-man radio dance party!  If you know us, you know if we have to drive somewhere, we're going to find some records on the way, and that's exactly what we did!  

Everything you hear on this episode came from a Louisville to San Antonio road trip in a car already packed heavy with Uwe's treasured record collection.  We hit up fertile record-digging pastures in Memphis, Little Rock, Austin, and San Antonio, and here's the harvest that went into James' record box!
