Introducing - Sonny & the Dog - the conceptual guardians of Rhys Marshall’s (Fantuzzi, ex-Sour Janes) bad feelings, heartache and confusion blended together with a healthy amount of salt and pepper to make what he aptly calls “Human Soup”. From the depths of depravity and disillusion comes something lighter, in the form of down tempo anti-folk, emo-cowboy, bedroom-blues; jangly guitars, drum loops, percussion and visceral lyrics; with his “Salad Girl” in tow (a.k.a. Juliette Wallace of Fantuzzi & Kamoos) supplying rhythmic synth keyboards & bass for good measure.
