Dark hair, and those dark eyes. Wonder if her soul dark too, hidden behind lies. I'm not saying that you've never been good, but you can't trick a trick livin' in the hood, I don't even know why you would. It's obviously you are searching for life, searching for what's right, hiding behind the darkness, praying for the light. Five minutes later you find yourself asking why, first time in your life you feeling something, ain't it strange that you want to die? It makes me think about mine, and the suicide that I tried. If it would have happened, you'd never read this poem, or find me rapping it. Now that's some shit. Why am I trying to create something from nothing, when I've been nothing, now isn't that something? Don't mistake coincidence for fate, now my girlfriend's late, it happened on our second date. When I'm talking about it, I think about my father, thinking what if I have daughter. You know he lost his first son, and now I'm his only son. That man taught me how to use a gun, why did I try something so dumb. I'm glad I'm still here, knowing when I write this I still have feeling and drop a single tear. My homies gone, drowned by the beers, avoiding all the fears, and why they blinded, I'm seeing things clear. Come on now walk over here, shit mayne, it's been years. How old is she? Your daughter, she is so beautiful and smart? Such a touching soul, I'm talking about it on my art, but she really lays on my heart. Struggling with the mystery, becoming part of history, this world don't mean shit to me..

SonnyDOGG has been known for his writing early in his career. During grade school, always writing poems and story and submitting to contests. He never aspired to be a Rapper or singer when he was young, coming from a place that issued a lot of racism, nobody wanted to see white kids rap. So he just kept writing and growing in his music exploration. By the time he was in high school Sonny had been fed up with what was happening in music. There was nothing talented coming out. Then Sonny found "The Underground" a music scene full of great music, with no rules or boundaries, and talent as far as the eye could see. Being exposed to a new scene, a new lifestyle had only wonders for SonnyDOGG! He knew that he needed to be a part of it, and this is his story he wants to share with the world!
