The Seratone Project is the Downtempo/Chill/Ambient project of Mumbai based producer, Raoul Verma. With over 20 years of experience Dj'ing and producing psytrance; covid and the birth of his son, opened his eyes and ears to a whole new dimension of psychedelic music. He truly believes that low BPM music leaves so much more space for an artist to express themselves. And it can be so much more psychedelic than the faster stuff. No formula, no rules. The Seratone Project, reflects years of time spent in the studio, in a new and unique package. He has recently signed this project onto the mammoth psychedelic label - Stereo Society, Israel, and his first EP (New Beginnings)is releasing on the 2nd of December 2022.

This is my recording from my set on the Chill Island stage @ Esoteric Festival 2023.
I played on the Monday afternoon 4:00pm - 5:30pm. Its a journey through Downtempo sounds from Organic House, Tribal and Dark Disco. 
Thanks alot to Jim and the Esoteric Crew for the slot, was such an honour to play at such an incredible festival.

The Alien Jams: Track 01

Recorded in 2011, during an Art Fusion Experiment in the HR Giger Museum in Switzerland, "The Alien Jams" is the live recording of a free-style improvised concert by Ajja & Cosmosis. 

While renowned artists Paul Booth, Filip Leu, Titine K-Leu and Sabine Gaffron painted simultaneously on a canvas for several hours before a live audience, Ajja & Cosmosis played music inspired by this unique artistic event unfolding before their eyes. 

Using acoustic, electric and electronic instruments, combined with laptops and live looping techniques, Ajja & Cosmosis allowed their imaginations to guide them on this epic, funky, chill voyage. Packed full of psychedelic electronica, hypnotic beats, deep ambient sections, irresistible grooves and superb guitars. "The Alien Jams" is an impromptu trip to another world, captained by two of today’s finest talents. 

Featuring nine selected tracks from the original concert recording, "The Alien Jams" is a collection of beautifully produced chill, funk and dance beats intuitively interwoven with the unique guitars and psychedelic sounds of Ajja & Cosmosis.
