This song started conceptually as a filler track to lighten the mood of the Moving Forward album a little, but ended up becoming one the highlights of the album. It’s about finding the strength to keep going after a difficult time.
I wanted it to feel both dreamy and empowering, with drum and bass energy and dreamy post-rock influences woven in.
