Time For Rainforest

Though the Crane is not rare anymore as in my youth, the call of the Crane still represents for me the spirit of the big soils and wilderness of Northern Satakunta, a region  in Central Finland. Here two Cranes, in the early morning before sunrise, are making their distinctive territory call, recorded here near the sea shore. (In the end, by 28.28 you can here the cranes leaving)

The recording is very polarized; high volume on the crane call, and very low volume between them.  Take care, when listening with headphones.

Shortened from a two hours recording, but nothing else done in edit.

I have a lot of technically good recordings of Blackbird singing, but they feel  rather clinical, somehow a bit out of context. Therefor I like this recording, with wind in old alder trees, other birds and some random noise from the background, but a nice and natural feeling of the Blackbird.  

Recorded in the grove with mostly old alders in Kivini village, middle in the Delta of River Kokemäenjoki, Pori Finland. A wonderful place, but not a place to make silent nature recordings.

To be listened with headphones, as all my recordings.
