The Toad Tavern in Littleton, Colorado, is a beloved venue for local musicians, particularly the band GeeDub. This lively spot regularly hosted performances by Brian, Will, and Ken, allowing them to experiment with their sound in front of a supportive crowd.

Brian and keyboardist Marty Wallace were part of the Toad Tavern's house band and often collaborated with GeeDub. During one memorable performance, they spontaneously launched into Albert King's "Born Under a Bad Sign." Although it never became part of their regular set list, this session showcased the band’s impressive improvisational skills and their ability to adapt musically together.

Once a beloved venue for local musicians, The Toad Tavern in Littleton, Colorado, underwent a transformation in 2013 when it changed ownership and rebranded itself as Fraco's Bar and Live Music. This venue was not just a place to enjoy drinks; it served as a cultural hub where aspiring artists could showcase their talents.

At that time, Brian was a resident of Littleton and a member of the house band at The Toad. He often had the opportunity to perform alongside national artists and solo acts. It was during one of these performances that he first met his future bandmates from GeeDub, Will Young, and Ken Martinez.
