After a big 2012, Sons moved out of their warehouse surrounds in July and into the bedroom studio of Jack Arentz (of electronic duo DEJA), where they went about superseding their self-titled debut. It’s a more laconic Sons the second time around – five songs filled with idiosyncratic percussive guitars, layered vocals, organic soundscapes and crisp, electronic percussion. 

Mixed in part by both Jack Arentz and UK electronic outfit, The Slips, and mastered by Andrei Eremin at Jack The Bear Studios, Day by Day is the third in a series of a mature, considerate electronic/indi songs.
