This is a new rendition of the song I wrote and recorded about twenty years ago. The original is a solo vocal/piano recording in one take without overdubs or editing. I posted it on my You Tube channel  but I thought its 8 minute length was too long to burden Sound Cloud listeners with. For this shorter new rendition I sampled piano and vocal parts from the original  to add additional piano and vocal layers to the song.
The lyrics : relate to the observations by a fictional bartender who notices
many barflies (regular customers) treat bartenders like  full-time "substitute psychologists".
