PREMIERE: Bellaire - "Ah" [AOC Records]

The fourth instalment of Moxie’s compilation series is back, presenting 8 exclusive new tracks from a thoughtfully curated line-up of artists. Featuring friends of On Loop, up-and-coming producers and prominent names alike, Moxie Presents Volume Four is due for release as a limited run on vinyl alongside a digital download.
First up is US producer Byron The Aquarius’ dreamy, laid-back opener ‘Truth Is What U See (Dreams)’, followed by Nathan Micay’s infectious builder ‘Basic Plumbing’. Lady Blacktronika then switches things up with energetic cut ’4 The Pain’, before Lisbon based artist Violet lays down her signature breakbeat sound on ‘Antifa Beats’. Next up is Steve Spacek, who’s soulful ‘Gimmi Da Love’ provides blissful vibes and a sunny vocal hook.
DJ Python’s celestial number ‘Quito’ deepens the tone, paving the way for Louise Chen’s ‘Reach (Raw Mix) - a solid house number packed with sleazy vocal chops, a groove-filled drive and catchy accents. Stepping up to close the compilation is The Maghreban, adding his trademark touch to an off-kilter remix of Steve Spacek’s offering ‘Gimmi Da Love’.

As On Loop steps things up, so does Moxie’s NTS radio show, now moving to a weekly slot and cementing its place as a staple dance show for the station. With regular parties at Manchester’s Soup Kitchen, Edinburgh’s Sneaky Pete’s and London’s Pickle Factory, plus an international tour to be announced this year, exciting things are ahead for the label and radio host.
