Somebody To Love

Sonya is 22 years old and is formerly from Laois but living in Offaly. She has been singing for 14 years having studied in vocal coaching under the Leinster School of Music and Drama.  She is also a trained Hip Hop Dance Teacher and is in the midst of studying to become a fully qualified/licensed Speech and Drama Teacher. Sonya keeps training in all styles of Dance and to this day is experienced in Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Ballet, Modern Dance, All styles of Hip Hop with emphasis being on Locking and Waacking. 

Having set up her Dance School in 2009, Sonya has added one achievement after another to her schools resume such as experiencing the makings of RTE's Who are you Kidding and Landing her students extra parts in Short Film "Men and Women" due to be out later this year.
Along with Dance, S.M'S School of Dance classes now vary in all aspects of performing arts such as Speech and Drama, Hip Hop, Voice Projection, Comedy and Jazz.

Sonya performs mainly at private functions and venues and has performed as part of the Duo De Jemz, who she toured around Ireland with for three years. 
Sonya is now performing with three piece band "Amarillo", who have started touring around Ireland. They are dubbed as the next "Crystal Swing".
Sonya is now working on her next project so keep your ear to the ground.

She has also competed in many competitions as she believes it keeps the fire in her singing. 

She recently reached the Semi Finals in Midlands got Talent and Won u21 in St Mary's Youth Talent Competition in Offaly. 

She is in the midst of recording her second CD, which she hopes to launch in the New Year.
