This monstrous remix package kicks off with Thomas Datt whose productions have been a staple of head honcho Oakenfold's worldwide sets and radio shows. His uplifting touches with a subtle nod to Tiësto's timeless remix are a must for any trance fan. The hugely in demand Angry Man ups the pace and adds his trademark dirty, darkness into a massive acidic monster that has seen early support from the 140 orientated djs! Any long running trance fan will know Orkidea, whose music has been gracing clubs for nearly 20 years. His Tribute Mix adds a strong, punchy, groove orientated version to the package. Last but not least is Paul Webster who harks back to his original tech orientated sound and gives up a deep, driving and moody feel that polishes off the collection perfectly. Slideways is proud to present Tim Penner's ‘Forgive Me' featuring the vocals of Amber Long with three incredible and diverse remixes from Chicola, Kassey Voorn & Turner and Solid Stone. Having previously worked together on a number of productions, Slideways reunites Tim and Amber for the tour de force that is 'Forgive Me’. 

The original is a hypnotic slice of progressive house by fusing lush chords, rolling bass-lines, soaring pads, tough percussive grooves and then complimented by Amber Long's uniquely haunting and hypnotic ethereal vocals to the production. 

The first remix comes courtesy of Tel Aviv's Chicola. He is a mainstay of the progressive sound and a name synonymous for quality with a number of releases on Sudbeat and Lost & Found. Chicola beefs up the original taking it into peak time territory utilising all manner of his masterful artistry to deliver a remix of intricately woven fx, chord stabs and signature bass-line. 

The second remix comes courtesy of Kassey Voorn and Turner whom deliver a funkier rendition of Forgive me, yet maintaining the vibe of the original. This provides an infectiously catchy lead line and arpeggiated chord sequences that give their rendition a playful groove to contrast the original.

Finally Solid Stone rounds off the EP with a euphoric remake that blurs genres with it's haunting, yet uplifting, trance infused melodies and arpeggiations and tribal percussive elements. It’s both driving and emotional and caps off this release beautifully. 

Each artist has added a certain diverse appeal to the release which make ‘Forgive Me’ one of the most captivating releases on Slideways yet. This EP gives you further insight on how the label looks to connect genres and captivate a variety of audiences world-wide.

In such a short space of time, Montreal's Solid Stone has firmly established himself in the upper echelons of the progressive genre, with his easily identifiable grooves and dark tones. He embarks on a new adventure through Coldharbour by presenting his We Are One series, with Chapter 1 yielding three gorgeous pieces.

For two of the three pieces, Solid Stone reaches out to friends Michael Gin and Ghost Wars, to apply their interpretation on Xonic and More respectively. The former is an ideal mood setter for the evening, with luscious and vibrant ease; whilst More is such an infectious vocal treat; one that you will be singing along to after a first listen. And not to be outshone on his own right, Watchmen rounds off another fantastic palette of work.

We Are One - Chapter 1 demonstrates why Solid Stone is so highly regarded, and luckily for all of us, there is more to come. With support on all three tracks by Markus Schulz among others, this is an essential if you lean towards those dark progressive vibes.
