Collective Effervescence is named for the sociological concept coined by Èmile Durkheim, which generally states that when people come together as communities, they retain the ability to act as one.

Such is the truth of how your bodies all over North America responded to this visceral selection of Soohan's newest remixes and edits, often meant directly for festival crowds. Worldly rhythms abound as Soohan introduces you to the likes of Adèle & Zalem, A-WA, Sukhwinder Singh & Vijay Prakash, and Ana Tijoux through 808-tinged lenses. Interspersed are moments of re-interpreted pop genius. A supercut of Missy Elliot's hardest lines runs atop a selection of Timbaland's best cuts, while elsewhere, Weezer meets Passion Pit and bass-heavy beat patterns straight from the Bay area.
