Waiting on a man who just couldn't give a damn, looking out the window wishing she could get.
Out of her own life where her soul could be free, break the status quo and and just take to the streets,
This city could save her it feels so right, she plans on leaving her life tonight.

In a hotel bar she finds herself sitting alone in search of thrill itself,
In walks a man what a sight to see, walks up to the bar and buys her a drink. 
She can't look away though she knows she should, she lived her whole life only doing good, 
But not this time she's become something else, this time she sets out to treat herself.

Temptation burns like a thousand fires, fueled by a whimsical heart's desire, 
It takes control of your mind and soul, leading you where every thought is not your own.
