La musique de KCIDY c'est exactement l'inverse : une pop savante et évidente, orchestrée et cristalline, qui transporte des paroles parfois plus sombres ou profondes avec une légèreté lumineuse. Une lumière ambivalente, de soleil d'hiver ou de lune à son périgée. Un paradoxe sonore : des chansons apparemment transparentes et évidentes qui recèlent un secret ou un revers comme un palais des miroirs dans une fête foraine. Des textes, en français ou en anglais, avant tout choisis pour leur sonorité qui finissent pourtant, comme sans l'avoir voulu, par raconter les excitations et les joies violentes qui ont persisté après l'adolescence, mais aussi la solitude,  la vulnérabilité, l'angoisse et le chaos d'être au monde, et dans ce monde-là.

Même si l'album nous invite à des rêveries sans fin il ne faudrait pas oublier l'essentiel qui nous saute au visage dès la première écoute, et ne nous lâche plus pendant les dizaines qui suivent : le sens du TUBE absolu, dont on était déjà convaincu à l'écoute des deux premiers EP (on retrouve ici No One See et Running On The Roof) et qui se confirme sur disque et sur scène. Un truc infectieux qui donne envie d'apprendre des chorégraphies et de chanter en choeur. 

Lost In Space parle de perte et d'espace, certes, mais aussi beaucoup de ne pas voir ou de ne pas être vus. Une peur mais aussi un abri sans doute. Il serait cependant dommage de passer à côté sans se retourner.
